What if the rings, the War of Light and the effects of Blackest Night and Brightest Days had an effect on the worlds of Anime?
Many Anime characters have the power of a Demterimator, a person who's determination cause them to exceed human abilities (or whatever they were) and gain unlimited power. A trait shared by the users of the Green Lantern's Light of Willpower.
For instant, the Anime Naruto is known for the main character's extreme willpower. In fact much of the cast could be seen as Determinators. Hinata, Rock Lee, and Sasuke Retrival party.
Any major character from the Yu-gi-oh series takes on this Determinator, mainly as they know with the right Card Combinations they could reverse their situations. Yugi Muto, Judai/Jaden Yuki, and Yuusei Fudo being the Main Character determinators.
Rumiko Takahashi has a hard time not making a character which is not a determinator as demonstrated by Ranma 1/2. Inuyasha has a team of them with the title character Kagome, Shippo, Sango, Miruko and even Kilala.
Yu Yu Hakusho has Kuwabara, with his fight against Rishou during the Dark Tournament. Injured, he has his ass handed to him the entire episode till the power of love empowers him for the win.
Any one of them could get a Green Ring....
Or should we turn to a different ring and a different finger...
