Shinobu Miyaki couldn't believe what she just saw.
Lum. Megane. Leaving Class 2-4 hand-in-hand. Jesucristo! Hand-in-hand?!
A shudder runs through the young woman who once was seen as Ataru's girlfriend, then Mendou's, as her mind tries to wrap itself around THIS concept. Yes, Lum did like Megane as a friend and an ally in keeping Ataru in line, but to show such a visible sign of affection like THAT in public? No, that wasn't Lum at all! What did it mean? Did it mean that...? NO!!
Now, many would think that after the dual hell of trying to keep a relationship with Ataru Moroboshi and Shutaro Mendou would've made Shinobu into a very bitter, spiteful woman. That is far from the truth, dear readers. Shinobu, in fact, is a very caring and warm person once you come to understand her one big fault. And that fault, given her history, is also easy to understand.
Shinobu HATES change with a capital "H!"
Like many people in Tomobiki, Shinobu often sees her personal security and emotional welfare guaranteed if nothing around her drastically changes. This means, at this time in her life, that Ataru and Lum were still together, that everything that revolved around Ataru and Lum remained as is and that if something did come along to try to upset things, it was put down as soon as possible!
That means that she currently views the separation between Ataru and Lum imposed by the national government as a temporary thing, to be expected given Lum's inexcusable behaviour before and during the Second Tag Race -- and that didn't mention Ataru's own hand in things, though she could see that this instance wasn't really his fault. Sooner or later, cooler heads would prevail, Lum would be allowed to come back together with Ataru and all would be right with the world. Right? Right!
But this...
What's going on here...? she wonders to herself, then tenses on sensing something happening behind her. Turning to look, she nearly collapses in shock on seeing Daremo Kakugari now holding Ryuunosuke Fujinami's hand, the looks they giving the other now not like ANYTHING one might expect from these two, ESPECIALLY to each other!
A glance elsewhere reveals Mendou now with his two biggest fans in class, Momoe Marubeya and Kumiko Gekasawa. That the two girls had their arms now wrapped around his was normal: even with the official announcement of his betrothal to Asuka Mizunokoji, Momoe's and Kumiko's interest in the class' richest student hadn't abated. Yet where were...?
Shinobu watches dumbfoundedly as Momoe slips in to deliver a wetter-than-Niagara Falls kiss to Mendou's lips as the back of her skirt suddenly rises up, as if she was a catgirl and her tail was arching up with interest. But it is Mendou's hand that is shifting clothes around, Shinobu quickly notices, then she balks as she sees his hand moving to pull -- down -- her -- panties!
"MENDOU-SAN!!!!" she gasps.
No reaction save for Mendou shifting to Kumiko to taste her lips as Momoe's free hand moves down to continue drawing her unmentionables to the level of her knees. Shinobu blinks, blinks again, then her eyes orbit around the area of his crotch before they nearly shoot out of their sockets on seeing the bulge now pressing against the white fabric. And if that wasn't bad enough, Kumiko's free hand was now coming around to start unfastening his trousers, revealling...
Oh. My. God.
"Mendou-san..."
"Hey, what's going on here...?! What the FUCK?!!"
Shinobu spins around to the window, her mind now registering the rumble of a certain alien biker babe's aircycle. There floating a metre from the open windows are Benten and Oyuki, both riding the former's sleek machine. Before Shinobu could articulate a single word, Urayamu Chibi and Shitto Paama move to accomodate the alien teens. "Lum-chan's not here right now, Your Highness," the former bows to Oyuki. "She stepped out a moment ago with Aisuru-kun. Looks like they needed to talk about something in private."
Oyuki blinks, surprised by the diminutive man's show of formality, then she notices the forming menege-a-trois centred on Mendou. "Oh, dear, is this some sort of strange Earth ritual?" she politely covers her mouth on noticing the open display of Mendou's manliness.
"Must be...! Hey, check THAT out!!" Benten points.
Shinobu looks, then gargles on seeing Ryuunosuke sitting on her desk, her trousers and panties now in a heap at her ankles. Kakugari is now kneeling before her, his tongue gently tracing the outline of her womanhood. One glance to the tomboy's face reveals how much she is enjoying this abrupt introduction to sex; her hands are now tugging at the bindings holding her breasts down, forever dispelling the illusion that Ryuunosuke is a man. Not that anyone else has taken time to notice, Shinobu gulps on seeing everyone else in her class now pairing off, boy-to-girl or two girls-to-a-boy. Hands were tugging at clothes to get them off without regard to modesty or any fear of being discovered by a teacher. And given the target range of Moreau's flu, the chances were slim to zilch of any teacher coming in to upbraid the students for such unbecoming behaviour. Joining in, maybe, but upbraiding. Not likely.
"Man, he's good with a tongue, isn't he?" Benten whistles admiringly.
"Kakugari-san does have very good technique," Oyuki agrees, then her eyes fall on Chibi. "And if that's true for him..."
Shinobu gapes as the Neptunian princess' eyes lock on the smallest of the guards. They gaze on each other for a moment, then Chibi walks up, holding out a hand. Oyuki steps off Benten's machine, then pauses as a sneeze shakes her before she follows Chibi out of the classroom. Shinobu watches them go, then turns back to see Benten guiding her aircycle up to the windowsill. Using one of her chains to bind her mount to the building, the Fukunokami biker-babe then dismounts before wrapping her arm around Paama's. Before the tallest of the guards could utter a protest -- if he wanted to, of course -- they were walking into the hallway.
Shinobu remains planted in place for a moment as her mind reels from the information overload it just received in the last few minutes. Three boys who had steadfastly remained loyal to Lum were now making out -- or going to make out -- with other girls...
Wait.
Lum. Megane. Alone TOGETHER.
Oh, NO!!!
Shinobu runs out of the room...
