Restart Deluge! The Emperor's Army: Fractured Souls (LIME) [Episode 233209]

by Gorgo

Narita International Airport, Terminal One North Wing . . .

"I still say we should have used my ship to help Hiromi-chan get down there."

"Lum…"

Hearing the tone in her companion's voice, Redet Lum took a deep breath. "Hai, Darling! You've got money to spend now! But why in the Maiden's Names do you want to waste it on trips like this?! We have our own means to get anywhere on the planet!"

"True, we do," Moroboshi Ataru said as he gently wrapped his arms around his would-be wife's shoulders, pushing her into his chest. As the Oni warlord's daughter smiled as she leaned her head against her lover's, he added, "But we still haven't convinced people everywhere that what we've got in mind for Earth in the future is the best course to take. Until that time, you're still restricted to what the Men in Black told you that you can do. Which means no use of your scoutship outside Japanese airspace, okay? Do you want to deal with a SAM being fired up your afterburners?"

Lum purred as her hands darted behind her butt touch the VERY interesting lump now forming in her companion's crotch. "Hmmmmm…no. I prefer to have a much warmer missile enter me. Like the one I'm feeling right now, Darling…"

He smirked. "Soon, Koishii…"

She purred again on hearing him address her with the Japanese translation of "darling," and then they turned to share a very warm kiss. As people around them took note of the young lovers being so publicly intimate, they wouldn't see anything quite unusual about both of them. Lum had styled her luminescent green-blue hair in the wrapped braids she had sported when she had disguised herself once as "Nobade Shinobi" to ensure Ataru wouldn't be embarrassed when his male classmates — in a way of sticking it to Mendō Shūtarō, who had virtually wrapped all the girls of Class 2-4 at Tomobiki High School around his fingers — failed to persuade another girl to go on a public date with the Terran tag champion. Thus, the horn buds that were the source of her Oni metahuman powers were nicely hidden by her hair; bangs of that hair also covered the tips of Lum's ears to keep their tapered nature hidden from casual view. Furthermore, given the trend of fashions in Japan these days, no one would really blink twice on seeing a teenage girl with green/blue-tinted hair.

Since Lum was now an Avalonian…

Both of them then perked on sensing a familiar person approach. "Am I missing something here?" a very polite woman then asked in a mirthful voice.

Ataru and Lum smiled as they gazed on Hiromi. "No, we were just relieving a little bit of tension before you came," the former mused as the newcomer walked over to gently kiss him on the cheek, and then she turned to give Lum a warm kiss on the lips. "So how was…?" he began before tensing on feeling a surge of ki emanate from somewhere inside his sister's travel bag. "Oh! Got it, didn't you?"

"Hai, I did," Hiromi said as she waved her sibling and his lover down the concourse for the connection to Narita Terminal JR Station for the first Narita Express back to Tōkyō. "Wasn't too difficult, but there were three other tōshi in the area when I went into the pagoda to obtain the Lóngyů. One of them was on the flight back to Narita with me. Can you sense her?" she asked as she gazed on them.

Ataru's eyes narrowed. "Got her."

"Who is it?" Lum asked; she had only begun her studies in Saikō Jinseijutsu-ryū, so her own ki senses were nowhere close to Ataru's or Hiromi's.

"Never met her before," he explained. "Then again, we've been busy since this all started last month, remember? It's only now that we're managed to get away from the house and spend time away from Tomobiki. We don't know who among the tōshi can be trusted with what we've got in mind for all of humanity. So…" he trilled.

"She was very well-formed, I must confess," Hiromi noted as she glanced over her shoulder, her eyes locking in on the barely-visible shape about ten metres away. "She seems to like dressing locally as well." She turned back to her brother. "She has a haoryū inside her as well. She wears a ki-charged medical patch over her eye to keep the poor creature contained." A shake of the head. "If only we can…"

"Make them trust Onē-san. I know, I know," he finished for her, which made Lum laugh as she reached over to wrap her free arm around one of Hiromi's. "One can't let go of the fear of the 'Black Death,' remember? Give them a little time, Hiromi…"

The others laughed…

Moroboshi Ataru?! What's he doing here?!

The woman born Sebone Mimōko and known to her brother and sister tōshi as "Ryomō Shimei" was trying not to scream out as the cauldron of emotions storming in her heart threatened to burst through her mental walls and make her collapse to her knees as still-fresh grief threatened to flood over her desire and determination to get her hands on the Dragon Jade to rescue both her and her schoolmate from their fates.

That girl…? Could she be…?

Mimōko then gaped. Lum?! she then concluded as her good eye narrowed while she focused her ki senses on the woman between Moroboshi Ataru and his obvious twin sister. She was about the same height as Ataru and had greenish-blue hair…

…which didn't look like a dye job.

That IS Lum! But I heard that no alien living in Tomobiki was allowed to leave the district without permission! As she considered that, the Nan'yō senior then moved to follow the Moroboshi siblings and their companion into the train station. There were even magical wards set up around Tomobiki to keep whatever happened in that place at bay, just like that whole mess with the alien mushrooms last month…!

Thinking on that, Mimōko then frowned.

This had to be investigated…

Boarding the next Nerima Express for Tōkyō and Shinjuku beyond — which was their ultimate destination — Ataru, Hiromi and Lum relaxed in a first-class cabin in the train's green car. It was more expensive than riding standard class, but it did give them privacy, which — once the tickets had been punched by the conductor — the Moroboshi siblings were quite willing to take advantage of, especially since their alien-born companion was more than willing to join in on the festivities.

"My Darlings…" Lum mewed as she allowed Hiromi to gently unzip her jeans and pull away her panties from her nexus so their hands could explore the wonderful treats that lay there. Of course, neither Hiromi nor Ataru were willing to refuse the chance to explore such a wonderful location, much less allow the Oni to do the same to their own private nexi as she was doing right now. "I love you…"

"As we love you, Koishii…" Hiromi whispered as she gently captured the Oni's lips in her own, her soul reaching out through her skin to touch the soul of the poor woman that had so captured her brother's heart a year before…

…yet was as damaged as his own as events a month before demonstrated:

Tomobiki, near Tomobiki High School…

"…not be allowed to fly higher than the mushroom caps!"

"Geez! That's got to be like fifty-seven metres! Right?!"

"Naah! More like sixty-two!"

Hearing the comments from the crowd around him, Moroboshi Ataru remained quite still as his eyes focused on the green-haired woman in the tiger-striped bikini about five metres away. Ignoring the mix of looks from his classmates and the other hangers-on who had interacted the most with him over the last year or so — especially when it also came to his living with a certain Oni — he felt the ki in his body move to harden his muscles to the point where his skin would now be bulletproof.

After so long, it was WONDERFUL to finally use the gifts Onē-san had given him.

BANG!

"START!"

As Lum leapt into the air, Ataru's hands came up nearly at the speed of sound.

KK-KRACK! KK-KRACK!

EVERYONE in the middle of town winced as many reached for their ears as they quaked thanks to the ki-charged sonic boom that had echoed from Ataru's hands as the horn buds he recovered from the scene of Lum's kidnapping a few days before by Prince Rupa of the planet Yaminokuni were crushed. Of course, the extra ki boost to make the noise loud and clear to all around him wasn't really necessary. Given what he learned six months ago during a delightful two-month vacation he had taken from the madness of Tomobiki, the one who he wanted to target with the act that signified a final divorce among Oni would still be able to hear him even from the range Lum was at now.

And she did.

As people turned back to morbidly watch, Lum collapsed to her knees, her eyes wide and her skin a sallow shade as a look of stunned disbelief crossed her face. As the strength in her body seemed to flow out from her, she didn't react as Ataru calmly walked up behind her, clearly unbothered by what he had just done. Before people — especially Lum's alien friends like Benten, Oyuki and Ran — could react to what was happening, his hands reached out and made their mark.

"Tag."

Silence.

More silence.

Still more silence.

Then…

"HEY! HE TAGGED HER HORNS! HE SAVED THE DAY!"

Everyone exchanged looks, and then a wild scream of relief escaped the crowds around Ataru. He remained in place, his hands now pulled away from Lum's horns as he allowed the cheers and whoops to wash over him, and then he turned to walk away from her, heading back to where a stunned Rupa was now standing, the smoking starter's gun still in his hand as he stared wide-eyed at the Terran onigokko champion. Noting that look, Ataru then allowed a mirthless smile to cross his face.

Oh, yes. Clearly, Rupa KNEW what shattering an Oni's horn buds meant.

Finally, the cheers died off as people gazed on the two men staring at each other, the Terran clearly expecting something and the alien still stunned silent by what his so-called "rival" for Lum's hand in marriage had just done. Silence then fell as people seemed to expect something. Ataru remained rock still as he gazed intently at Rupa, his only motion an arched eyebrow. Still nothing from the Yaminokuni prince.

And then…

"I see."

Silence.

"You see what, Ataru-kun?"

Ataru smirked as he turned to gaze on Shinobu. "Miyake-san, it's quite obvious, of course." He then gazed intently at Rupa, ignoring his former girlfriend's wide eyes and stunned gasp as she interpreted what he had addressed her as. "We were lied to." He then waved around him to indicate the alien fungi now growing out of every building around them. "He won't summon his pigs to clean up the mushrooms here!"

More silence.

Still more silence.

And then…

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!"

Rupa awked as he sensed THOUSANDS of people glare death at him. Before he could squawk out a protest, his megaphone was seized by Ataru, and then he was backhanded by the Terran to send him flying over three metres away to crash into the ground at the feet of some very irate citizens. Before they could move to lynch him, before he could recover, before Carla could yank out her launcher to save her beloved, before anyone could do anything, Ataru raised his right hand, the middle finger and thumb poised.

SNAP!

A blinding flash exploded from him to warp throughout all of Tomobiki and beyond, making everyone in the crowd scream out in fright as a wave of warm energy surged right through them. A second later, the flash then faded…

…to leave behind a crowd of confused people.

Not to mention the complete ABSENCE of anything alien there.

No giant mushrooms.

No herd of space-pigs.

No flying saucer-shaped alien ships.

No Carla.

No Rupa. Or his retainers.

No Ran.

No Oyuki.

No Benten.

No Ten.

No Lum…

"What happened…?" a stunned Aisuru Satoshi — known more popularly as "Megane," the leader of Lum's Stormtroopers — then eeped.

Eyes then turned to the spot where Ataru had been…

…to find no one standing there.

"Ataru-kun…" Shinobu whispered…

At least Darling was able to get my malfunction corrected…

Lum breathed out in delight as she felt the rush of an orgasm overcome her, her clit being expertly manipulated by Ataru and Hiromi as their lips gently suckled her now-exposed horn buds to drive the Oni-turned-Avalonian teenager to such a ecstatic high that she would — were she still in her original body — probably destroy the whole train with a massive burst of bio-electricity, which wouldn't do.

After all, her beloved Darlings would be hurt by such a thing.

A gasp escaped her, and then she moaned out in relief as her body seemed to freeze for a moment, and then began to relax as her lovers moved to calm down; the Oni's hands had also been hard at work causing them to reach their own plateaus. Of course, with Ataru, it would have created quite a mess inside his own jeans, but a handy condom made sure the cleaners responsible for the Narita Express wouldn't find out what had happened here. It just wouldn't do, after all.

"Oh, man…" Ataru grunted as he sat back, allowing Lum to move to clean him up as he took several deep breaths. "How long is this going to take…?"

"As long as required, unfortunately," Hiromi noted as she pulled out some tissue so she could clean herself up. "Much that I know you don't care for those people in Tomobiki, Onii-san, there's no sense in subjecting them to the threat of a ki bomb that would make the Car'-bomba the Soviets unleashed on Nóvaja Zemljá years ago look paltry in comparison." She then scowled. "Of course, that's nothing compared to what that witless dullard Ōgi had in mind before we discovered what he was plotting."

Lum nodded as she relaxed herself while Hiromi moved to clean her up, a dark cloud of outrage flooding her own mind as she remembered that particular person. "Pity that he's in no position to do anything about it. The 'Goddess' Army'…" A giggle then escaped her. "All blown up by one of their own cobalt bombs!"

"And what's worse, they have no way of learning what happened," Hiromi said as she leaned over to gently kiss Lum on the lips. "Anti-matter is quite convenient."

"Tcha…!" the Oni said, smirking…

"Oh, gods…!"

A moaning Sebone Mimōko was trying not to collapse onto the floor of the washroom stall she had hidden herself into when she had felt the flood of tantric ki surge out from the green car to nearly overwhelm her. But how?! the Nan'yō senior wondered as she moved to clean herself up, falling back on the years of martial arts training that had — outside what she had inherited from her past-self through the magatama she now wore on her left earlobe — made her one of the top tōshi in Kantō. Ataru-kun's never really liked Lum in the first place! He was always running away from her every time she tried to make him accept their so-called 'marriage!' And after he made all the aliens disappear like that from Tomobiki last month…!

She shook her head. What on Earth is going on here…?

Seventy-six minutes after departing Narita Airport, the Express pulled into Shinjuku Station, where the Moroboshi siblings and Lum got out and moved to head for the platform leading to the trains heading south from Shinjuku to Ōfuna Station in Kamakura on the Shōnan-Shinjuku Line. Physically unseen by them — though certainly having been sensed by both Ataru and Hiromi thanks to the ki senses they had literally inherited from their sibling — Sebone Mimōko followed them. The tōshi from Nan'yō was tense; anywhere in Metropolitan Tōkyō itself was Rakuyō territory, so there was a chance that one of the people directly loyal to the current holder of the Gyokuji — Tadasu Suguta, the self-mutilating and sadistic senior known to his peers across Kantō as "Tōtaku Chūei" — would sense the "enemy" tōshi on their turf and come investigate.

And if it was Mimōko's own cousin…

"Mō-chan."

The Nan'yō senior jolted on hearing that sensuous voice, and then she sighed before she turned left to see a girl in the modified burgundy uniform of Rakuyō Senior High School she liked to wear, now standing by a washroom, looking calm and collected. "Hōsen," Mimōko said as she focused on Sebone Shikuko; "Ryofu Hōsen" to her peers. "What are you doing here?"

"What are you doing here, Mō-chan?" Shikuko asked in turn as she gave her relative — they were first cousins five times removed — a knowing look.

Mimōko nodded towards the platform for the Shōnan-Shinjuku trains. Shikuko turned to look…and then her eye arched. "Oh! New tōshi…"

"She's Moroboshi Ataru's sister."

Silence.

More silence.

Still more silence.

And then…

"Excuse me?!" a white-faced Shikuko gasped.

Mimōko tried not to wince too hard on sensing her cousin's fright; Shikuko had also been badly hurt by the death of their cousin Uneme Nozomi, who had passed away from cystic fibrosis six months before…though her soul would remain tied to the mortal plane for another month before a Shintō shrine maiden from Tomobiki had engaged a young man named Moroboshi Ataru into going on a posthumous "date" with the poor woman to appease her spirit and allow her to ascend to Heaven. "It's true. C'mon," she then bade as she waved Shikuko with her. "Lum's with them, too."

The Rakuyō senior gaped. "Lum…?!" she hissed.

"Yeah! I want to know what's going on here! Let's go!"

Hearing that, Shikuko nodded as they headed off…

"Another one?" Lum asked.

Hiromi sighed as she and Ataru nodded. "Hai. They're two cars back," the former then said as they moved to take a booth in one of the forward cars.

The Oni sighed. "What do they want? Other than that crystal you have."

Hiromi smirked. "We'll have to see," she mused as we…
