She wasn't terribly angry, but then again, it hadn't been even when she had been alive. Back then, she had been a star. Everyone had loved her, especially the men. Her way with the male gender had been legend even in her own time, but there had never been anything visicious about it. It just had happened to be that she had been rather enamoured with the... more base pleasures of the flesh.
Not that Hiromi Matsui had ever been too crass or anything. She had just enjoyed life as it came and if she could maneuver a man into her bed, so much the better. Heck, she had sometimes maneuvered men into other women's beds when she thought the resulting couple would be good for each other.
Then had come her death, which she had made look good, if she said so herself. A simple trip on a loose rug and a resulting fall down the the theatre's grand staircase, and she had bit the big one. No jealous lovers, no old age, and no over indulgence. Just a simple, and stupid, accident. Seeing her body lying there had been a shock and some dull part of her spirit's mind figured that at least she looked good even that way, but that was cold comfort. Especially when she found that she couldn't move on to whatever was next.
In time, however, she grew to accept it, and managed to use it to help out the best she could. The 'star' with the bloated ego would find that he would twist his ankle just before the big show, resulting in his understudy, who was a better actor anyway, getting his big break. A leading lady whose uptight and irritable attitude was a mask for her growing feeling of isolation somehow found love with the laidback journalist. Then there had been the woman playwright who had a bad case of writer's block who managed to sit just where the moonlight would result in the most beautiful, romantic and inspiring scene that could be imagined.
But the girl she had just seen looked like she was in desperate need of help for a whole slew of problems, and most of them were things that Hiromi was good at. Hell, she had never seen someone with such a massive bundle of self-denial and erroneous conclusions in her life AND afterlife.
Besides, it looked to be a challenge and Hiromi liked those almost as much as she enjoyed men.
Akane growled under her breath as she washed her hands in the women's bathroom. Her fiancee was such a jerk, always hanging around Ukyo instead of her. Not that she wanted him to do that, but he could stop the playboy routine for at least a little while. Drying her hands, she nearly tore the paper towel to shreads as she continued to run the thoughts through her head.
Shuddering slightly from a chill, she rolled her eyes and wondered if even the theatre was out to get her. It would be just her luck. Still she had to wonder...
The youngest Tendo stood completely still for a few moments, and then blinked and swayed on her feet for a few moments. Shaking her head as if she had to get some cobwebs out of it, she made her way over to the row of sinks and the mirror over it. Peering at it intently, she turned her face one way and then the other, before runnting a hand through her hair. Stepping bck from it, she cupped her breasts through her school uniform, as if testing their size and weight. With a slight frown, she turned around, bent over a bit and then looked over her shoulder at her rear's reflection in the mirror. That got a bit more of a frown as she straightned up, pulled her skirt up to her hip and stretched out her leg to display it.
"Not much to work with," she muttered, or rather the being occupying her body muttered, "But Hiromi Matsui was never a quitter."
Moving the schoolgirl's body back over to the mirror, she looked at it as if trying to find the girl it belonged to. It took a few moments, but whatever she was looking for, she found. Or at least that was what the indication she gave was.
"I know you can't hear me kiddo, but I'm going tell you all the same. I'm going to help liitle old you learn to loosen up a bit. You probably will never know it, but when this is all over, you'll likely want to thank me, because I'm going to make your life so much easier. When I'm in control, you're not going to know wha I did, but I will always know what you did. But in the end, I'm sure that your life will be better for it."
With a nod of her head, the possessed Akane smiled at her reflection. "But the firt thing to do honey, is to:
