"Will a Potion Of Bravery allow Hinata there to go ahead and say she likes the dork?" asked Sasuke, his head inclining to indicate the fainted Hinata and worrying Naruto.
Raschid nodded. "Yes. The effects will last for an hour, but during that time the young miss will fear nothing. Care must be taken, however, for the one under the potion's influence will remember everything but fear nothing."
Sasuke bit his lower lip lightly as he thought about that. "So you're saying she won't feel constrained by customs or social issues as well. Or if she faces a strong enemy, she'll attack even when she's clearly overmatched."
"That is exactly so," said Raschid with a nod. "All potions have their purpose, their limitations, and their drawbacks. One that the Potion Of Bravery has is that recklessness results."
"I see," said Sasuke. "How much?"
"300 kiam," said Raschid, reaching out to the pile of coins. "This for the Unseen Presence. This for the Bravery Potion. That leaves you 350 kiam."
"You're being remarkably honest for a merchant," said Sasuke, well aware of merchants who would be less forthright.
"The young sahr there is from Mid-Childa," said Raschid. "If that young sahr, and you yourself young sahr, find Raschid to be fair and honest merchant - you are in position to send business to humble Raschid. Is this not so?"
"I see," said Sasuke, a predatory smirk showing on his face that gave Raschid a moment of qualm. "In that case-"
Naruto opened the gateway, leading Hinata and Sasuke into a world of swamps that had two moons in the sky. "So what all did you get?"
"A few odds and ends," said Sasuke. "Oh, here."
"W-what is this?" asked Hinata as she accepted the blue stoppered test tube.
"Healing potion," said Sasuke. "A minor one. If any of us are injured you can administer that."
"So what else?" asked Naruto as he led them along.
"Got a couple of other potions, including that Unseen Presence potion," said Sasuke as he watched a centipede roughly the length of his arm scuttle away from their path.
Naruto checked his book, then made a gesture to open another mid-air doorway.
The grasslands on the other side had thick mists and odd noises from things moving around in it. The group remained silent for the duration of that world.
When Naruto opened the gate this time, they stepped out into the Uchiha District in Konoha again.
Touching the Bravery potion in his pouch, Sasuke smiled. "Say, how about we get some ramen?"
