It took the black haired youth a few minutes to fully remember but, as he finished cleaning away his bedding into the corner of the room he shared with his father, it finally came to Ranma. Today was the day he was supposed to meet up with someone who knew about curses and breaking them. A small grin quirked up his lips though as he thought of one major difference between this one and the others he had ever known, ‘Tofu-sensei’s the one who set this meeting up…’
It was quite a surprise to the young Saotome when Kasumi handed him a letter a few weeks ago, explaining the situation. Tofu had finally, at Ranma insistence, taken a small sabbatical to try and work out his crippling emotions when it concerned eldest Tendo daughter. Ranma didn’t know where Tofu went but two days later the clinic he ran was temporarily closed with an explaining sign on the front door. From what he heard, the elderly locals took with mixed emotion, liking that he was fixing his issues but already missing his healing hands.
Shaking his head with a rueful snort, Ranma looked back towards his own affairs of the coming day. From what the letter read, Tofu had met the curse breaker during his sabbatical but the meeting, as scheduled, wouldn’t happen until later this afternoon. Heading into the furo to wash up for the coming day, the pigtailed youth took the wait in stride as he had to attend this Saturday's half day of school anyways… or at least endure whatever shenanigans that might arise at the school.
After quickly bathing, opting to forgo the soak in the furo today, Ranma made his way downstairs to sit with the rest of the household for breakfast.
