Lamp Of Mihoshi - Were-Girl: Moonlit paths of the heart... and maybe more? [Episode 23547]

by Orochislade

Knowing that nothing is ever simple and straight forward with Ranma, he and Nabiki covertly set out to learn just what sort of pros and cons come with his new curse. Over the course of three weeks they had discovered that he wasn't a were-folk in the tratitional sence.

First off, they found that he had a relative control over his new curse; which worked quite well in hidding the issue from those who would only make it worse... i.e. everybody besides Kasumi. everytime he was hit with cold water he was able to replicate the previous effects. Thus far no one noticed the diffrence.

Second, they had found that he could remain a he while in the light of the moon. However, the more lunar-rays he was bathed in, the harder it was the remain a man. Obviously Ranma rejoyiced during the new moon.

The third thing that went unnoticed by Ranma, though not by Nabiki, was that Ranma tended to stay in his "cursed" form more and more often. Though it was only a few minutes here or an hour there, Nabiki knew Ranma well enough to know that this was deffinately a part of his new curse. Another odd occurance was that once or twice she caught Ranma calling it a gift. In light of the evidence, Nabiki was sure of at least one thing: On the full moon Ranma would not be a 'he'. What she was worried about the most though, was what other effects besides not being able/wanting to change into a man would there be?

And that brings them to tonight. The night of the full moon.

They both stood in the field as they waited for the cloud cover to clear. Both waiting with uncertainty. It was then that the clouds parted in a clich'e, though entirely Ranma-type fashion; bathing Ranma in the rays of a beautifully, glorious, ripe, full moon.

And thats when the expected unexpected happend...
