His hand went to the precious items he'd stolen to reassure him as he finally began arcing back downwards. The precious silky darlings, and this odd trinket he'd found.
One that seemed to promise power to him if he would submit to it. Well, that was right out. He didn't submit to anyone.
Thor swore something in a language nobody there was familiar with, his voice temporarily having an echo like thunder. Then it was gone, and he turned to the others without any other comment.
"What WAS that thing? A yoma?" asked Minako.
"A perverted old martial artist," said Makoto. "He was using martial arts manuevers and attacks."
"So what did your Mercury Computer say?" asked Rei.
Ami blinked at all the faces turned towards her, then went to studying the readouts. "It's... this can't be right."
"What?" asked Usagi.
"That thing was human? With a chi level that fluctuated when he grabbed or touched us. Except for Ranma." Ami frowned at that. "There's no matchup to any of our previous enemies."
"So," said Thor, tapping Mjolnir briefly on the ground and shifting back to Ranma. "Old perverted martial arts master."
"This just proves that martial arts are useless against our enemies, none of you could stop him," offered Ami.
"Uhm, right," said Usagi.
Makoto frowned. "He dodged everything we threw at him until Thor caught him offguard with an area-effect attack. I'd say that the little monster just proved how much use martial arts can be in our kinds of battles."
Usagi winced and looked between Makoto and Ami, clearly nervous about something.
Happosai went to ground, to lick his wounds and plan his next grand adventure. The trinket he'd found just lying on the ground - that had a particular fascination for him. Not that he was inclined to let it dominate him or anything. His entire life had been to indulge his OWN will and whim, not anything else's.
He did, however, get a name to go along with the presence. It would make it easier for him to cop a deal with that presence later if the whole "submit to me, mortal worm" crap would just get dropped.
