Yet, a fragment of them, an impression of will and spirit and power - that had survived and been gathered by the goddess once known as Mystra.
Most remained quiescent. Only Mitternacht was mostly awake and active.
The ninja present didn't know much of this. All they knew for sure was that Naruto Uzumaki had just shown power that they could barely understand - much less wield themselves.
There were a number of reactions visible on the faces and in the body languages of those present. Fear, that was present on a few. Others showed anger. Most prevelant was surprise or perhaps confusion.
"When you are ready to ask questions, there will be answers," said the Hokage. "Make an appointment. There are possibilities open not previously available. Do not speak of this to others, as this is to be considered a most top secret."
There were a few mutters and complaints at that, but nobody felt like challenging the Hokage apparently.
"So, you must be Naruto's team," said one of several women as they approached Team 7.
"And you are?" asked Sakura.
"I'm Nanoha Takamichi," said the lead girl.
"Fate Tessarossa," said the second girl.
"Hayate Yagami," said the third girl.
"We're with the Time/Space Administration Bureau," said Nanoha. "There's something specifically to address with Naruto's team."
