Temple Days: Definitely not the hair of a pure soul [Episode 24060]

The hair of one that was pure had been substituted with the hair of one who was far from it.

"I am many things, but an expert on magical theory is not one of them," admitted Cologne after a time. Of course, by then the only ones still listening were Shampoo (who was still speculating on Chinese recipes that called for fresh duck) and Akane (I don't really care what happens to that jerk. Honest!) Tendo.

"So you're saying you don't know what happened to him?" Akane asked, a little miffed at all the wasted time.

"I know he was sent from this world to another one, that instead of being sent to the lowest pit of Hell, or having a demon devour him, he was likely sent to a more hospitable environment. However, that's like saying more moist than the surface of the sun, it's not saying quite a lot there." Cologne considered how much to say.

Happosai was neither pure good nor pure evil. He was perverted enough to make an oni choke. There were also lines he would never cross such as abusing children.

If the hair of someone purely evil had been used, no doubt Ranma would be in one of the Heavens right now. Or...

Or put where he could be tested.

Akane waited briefly. "So where could he have ended up?"

"A nearly infinite number of worlds, or so I'm given to believe. I haven't explored other worlds or sought out such things, child." Cologne failed to mention that among her soap operas she'd started watching this foreign program called 'Star Trek'. "Looking for one person among those worlds - a daunting task."

"Great Grandmama could no bring Ranma back by reverse of ritual?" Shampoo began. "Then maybe she could send someone to where Ranma is?"

• Cologne decides to try a reverse of the ritual. Who does she get?
• Cologne decides that someone could indeed be sent to where Ranma is - though it will only work once.
• The scroll and ritual are too dangerous to tamper with. Maybe at the village someone more expert in the theories behind such things can figure out angles.
• Nabiki snuck upstairs and is starting the ritual, the darkness in her soul providing Something a toehold into this world.
