""Hardy har har," grumbled Nabiki. "I swear you have the weirdest sense of humour, Juri."
"Well, Ranma likes that part about me," said the Korean girl with a light giggle. "In fact, he even said that if I ever wanted to retire from the Taekwondo circuit, I should go into comedy. It was rather sweet of him to say that."
"You're seriously not thinking about doing that... are you?" Honestly, with Juri she could never tell sometimes. Even if she was a nice girl, she had some odd and chaotic mood swings at times. If anything, Ranma can't complain of having a boring and dull marriage.
"Of course not. I haven't exactly figured out what I should do yet. Daddy's been dropping hints though."
"About what?" asked the middle Tendo in a curious tone.
"Law school," replied Juri. "I doubt I can see myself being a lawyer like him... although I wouldn't mind shouting 'OBJECTION!' every fifteen seconds just to mess things up."
Nabiki tried to imagine it but the sight of that free-spirited girl going that route seemed... off. "Yeah, I don't see you being in the Lawful alignment."
"Lawful?"
"It's a Dungeons and Dragons thing I heard from one of my friends."
There was a pause on the other end. "...... honestly, I'm kinda leaning towards you being a sadistic Dungeon Master for whatever games you run."
"Wouldn't that suit you much better?"
"Ha! You got-"
*BAM*
Nabiki froze when she heard a crash on the other end. "Juri? What's going on over there?"
"What the hell?! Who are you freaks?!" She could hear the woman on the other end but she seemed to be addressing some sudden and unwelcome company.
"Juri?! JURI!!!"
She heard one more crashing sound on the other side before the line was disconnected.
*BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*
