[Episode 244642] [Episode 244642]He stood and panted. Then he stored his device, steeled his will, and started tossing the parts of his enemies back through the portal. He never saw the birdlike thing creep away into the shadows.
In a place where the dead are kept a coffin stood open, the dead man inside ready for his funeral tomorrow, it was to be an open casket ceremony. A bird like thing crept in, injected something in the man's mouth, and closed the coffin. It's job done, it left for others to find and inject with it's special liquid.
Inside the coffin the man's body was going through a change. It would be way different tomorrow then. At the ceremony the man's relatives would get a very unpleasant surprise when he emerged.
"Dearly beloved," said the minister, "we are gathered here today to bid farewell to Craig Donovan. He was a fine man..."
The minister stopped, gaped, and stared as a blade like thing burst from the coffin. Then another one. The coffin top was soon hacked to pieces and out came a..... horror.
The horror moved fast, and plunged it's blade arms into the minister. The minister fell gurgling blood out of his mouth. The people screamed, yelled, and ran.
The horror chased them down, stabbed them all, and killed them. By the time it was done there were dead bodies everywhere and the area was covered with blood. It tore apart the room, and then went to find other humans.
