Circle of Friends: WingZeroGundam-tan, errr Nanoha Takamachi, reporting for love duty! [Episode 245831]

by Valor Phoenix

Unlike the others, Nanoha didn’t get the same shock the other girls did by breaking her own pokeball open from the inside. She was no longer under a compulsion to love Ranma, but she was still in the mood.

She was however curious about where she was and what was going on.

Actually she was more curious to get to know her new boyfriend. “Hi, I’m Nanoha Takamachi.”

Ranma simply stared back at the girl, glad she didn’t squeeze as hard as the one with the blond ponytails. “Ranma Saotome.”

Alita in turn felt like rolling her eyes as the girl seemed unfazed by having the mind controlling whatever device destroyed.

Her grumpiness was vetoed as Usagi and then Sasami joined in the friendly chatter.

A short while later, Sasami finally opened another tree gate, this time to the large tree on the Masaki shrine grounds. In getting across the shallow pond with little stones to step on, Usagi was of course splashing in the water on her first hop across the stones.

As Ranma got wet helping her out of the water and across the stones, Alita finally took notice of the trees. Of course they’d started out in a forest, but she recalled some old saying about forest and trees that made little sense.

This new forest seemed somehow more natural, perhaps because it was a rural shrine instead of near a city. There was little in the way of electrical hum, air pollution or buildings here.

It was a little jarring for the cyborg as she was only familiar with cities in various stages of ruin in the middle of a mostly desolate wasteland. She’d at least seen plant life, preferring to raise sweet peas herself, but the smell of a forest with moist soil and naturally clean water was so new she had little compare it against.

Shaking it off she followed the kids down the path, Sasami leading the way. Alerted through the Jurai trees, the extended Masaki family was waiting for Sasami.

Standing back as the noisy reunion happened, Usagi stayed close to Ranma for support, still not feeling safe out at night.

After a few minutes of repeatedly telling everyone she was okay, Sasami was finally able to tell her family that she had some children with her that at least needed to call home before it got too late. At that point Ranma and the rest of the girls finally got noticed and ushered into the house.

It being late in the night, after Usagi and Nanoha called home to inform their families they were no longer missing and would make it to Tokyo tomorrow, that left the question of what to do about Alita and Ranma.

Alita clearly realized this wasn’t her world, so her home was where ever she pleased for the moment. In more ways than one she was a lot like a cat in that manner.

For Ranma, the nekoken training prior to Genma trying to ramp it up with mystical creatures made the young boy more receptive to the idea that his father wasn’t a good sensei or parent. That he’d also been separated from Ucchan and his Mom helped in that decision.

Unfortunately Ranma didn’t know where he lived or what his phone number was, so it would take a bit of doing to get him home.

That matter settled, the kids were given snacks, a bath, clean clothes where possible and put to bed. With Ranma and Usagi both sleepy already, the kids went to sleep in one room, the girls fairly uncomfortable about being separated from Ranma.
