"What's wrong?" asked Sasuke, having got used to the blonde over the past few days of travel.
"What do your senses tell you?" asked Naruto.
"This answering a question with a question stuff gets old," half-growled Sasuke, but he DID go ahead and look over the scene.
The hill they'd just crested had a view of a busy port town. He could estimate it was roughly four times the size of Konohagakure, but if anything it looked more chaotic and sprawling than the ninja village.
Sasuke paused as he considered Naruto's wording. He hadn't asked 'what do you see' but 'what do you sense' so...
Sasuke sniffed the air but what he picked up was less easy to read as it was all muddled together.
"I don't know," said Sasuke, then turned his eyes towards the whitewood sword at Naruto's hip. "What about you?"
"There's something wrong," answered Hinata. "There are crowds of people near the dock area, leaving the outer part of the city mostly empty."
Sasuke verified this quickly, then nodded.
"Shall we go see?" asked Naruto, turning a grin towards the other boy.
"-and we barely escaped with our lives," said the sailor to the small crowd.
"A sea monster?" asked one of the others.
