Nabiki smirked “Well yeah sis, I’ve been planning this for 2 weeks now. After the whole blown up wedding I figured that they need to get together as soon as possible. We can’t afford the Dojo to be destroyed again; it was just fixed this morning. So when Auntie told me that she wanted Ranma to propose to Akane I had to get her involved; Ranma would go with it if his mother supports this.”
“Nabiki, you don’t take care of the finances, how do you know how much it costs to fix the dojo?”
“Well everyone thinks I do, like I don’t have anything better to do than manage this place. Either way it makes my image more powerful, and it doesn’t take a genius to find out stuff from behind Daddy’s back. Now, what am I going to tell him and his panda friend about this…?”

Two 17 year olds were in a room sitting on the bed facing opposite ways. Ranma has his knees to his chest, thinking about what happened now that all the emotional stuff was over. Now that they were alone with their thoughts after pushing each other away, they were facing the reality of the situation. They owned each other, which one that is in charge changing daily. That was strange even for Nerima. Owning people has been going on for millennia only recently frowned upon. However, the master and slave switching every day? How does that even work?
Ranma looked at the book on the corner of the bed; he decided to read about this ring thing. Maybe it has answers about the rings forcing will on each other or something. Akane doesn’t get all emotional like that usually. The rings have got to be some influence on her emotions, that or she is now unafraid to hold back her feelings. ‘But why now?" Ranma thought ‘Is it that she never had a chance to tell me before? Or maybe it’s the pressure and strangeness of this that caused her to break down her barriers. It has been eating at her for a while now, if her face has been any indication. She looked so helpless, so in need for something in her life, I’ve never seen her like that before. Sure she has cried before and in peril, a lot more than I’d like, but never like this. I’d doubt she blabbed about her feelings like this before. I’m not going to let anything hurt her ever again. It’s not just about what Mr. Tendo wants, it’s about my feelings for her, and I guess I already admitted it to her how much I really feel about her, just my luck that we don’t remember it. Now lets see, Ring of the male were-creature lover? Is that what this is? A ring that reflects the nature of the user using colors. Yep, that’s it. Each color represents a different thing inside the user. Red is female in an artificial form, meaning a bloody not complete female self? So it knows my curse? Not complete? Does it men that I am still a guy inside? I hope so. Akane likes my curse for some reason, but I am a guy damnit!”
Ranma flips the pages looking for magical properties. ‘Huh, Black is incomplete masculinity usually by being ignorant to the female side of things causing the male soul to black out? What?! Stupid thing saying stuff about me… what’s this? If with red and black are in the same ring then it’s because the person is neither male nor female or is both male and female?! Stupid curse! Let’s see, yellow coloring is for cheetah? Weird, grey is for werewolves, not need any of that… the base of the ring has a color determined by personality? Black is evil, white is holy, grey is neutral, silver is sadistic, red is for jerk-asses… wait what? It actually says that? Interesting, hmmm…. What do I have, ah, gold, golden is for those that can be grey, silver, or red but have a heart of gold. Am I really that bad? Well Akane says I’m a jerk all the time but, I am really one? I know I’m not sadistic, so I’m either neutral or a jerk. Great. Magical stuff, magical stuff, hmmm… if ring has two colors, rotating it around 180 degrees flips when the alternate form comes out. For example werewolves can change from just at night to just in the day by rotating the ring 180. That makes the werewolf be a human at night and a werewolf in the day, good for reproduction purposes. Warning, in order for it to work, subject must be in alternate form for 24 hours. Example, werewolves that want to be human at night must stay as a werewolf until the next night if it is rotated at night. So to be a guy at night I gotta be a girl for 24 hours. Nothing I haven’t done before, but I like to go to school as a guy thank you. Hmmm… Ring of the wife of the were-creature?”
Ranma looks up and scratches his head. ‘What kind of name is that?! Diamonds circumference the ring with a color on each side, smooth and shiny with magical qualities. Can be the same or different. Are the same colors as its partner “Ring of the male were-creature lover” and is magically unable to be taken off when put of by her lover. So this is all true, Oh boy. Both rings will fall off if one or both wearers cease to love each other. Hmm, the amount of love is shown when it glows. Glows? Not here, next page, page after that, here we go! When wearing the pair, the couple is now mentally, emotionally, physiologically, and physically in-tuned with each other?! Pain felt by one is felt by the other, how much depends on a love scale 1-10 each with a different color glow which happens to the rings each time a wearer is hurt in any way. This is bad, real bad! In addition, brain washing, love potions, memory manipulating, and mind control by third parties cause the one who isn’t to feel immense pain as a warning someone is messing with your partner. This just gets better and better. The glow colors indicate as followed. Hmm, I hope I don’t find out the answer soon.’
1. Lowest level: barely in love. Glow color Black only know there is pain to partner. Easiest to fall out of love.
2. Next level Brown more caring than previous
3. Color Purple feel each others pain by one hundredth
4. Color Grey feel each others pleasure by 1/2
5. Color Green pain is 10 times less than partner pleasure is felt at full.
6. Blue glow slight mental influence. Couple gets along better easier to compliment each other. Harder to insult and lie to each other.
7. Red glow slight emotional influence on each other. Both have been willing to die for each other. May have killed or willing to kill for each other. More open to each others feelings.
8. Orange glow slight physiological influence. More attractive to each other and body harmony increases to that closer of more fit partner.
9. Pink glow slight physical influence. Body fitness is increased closer to the greater partner. Nutrients shared, strength can be powered by each other, and toughness increased closer to more fit partner.
10. Yellow glow better influence on all aspects (Mental, Emotional, Physiological, and Physical) and is nearly impossible to break up. Soul mates are these. Can finish each others sentences and feel each others pain exactly.
11+. Beyond the impossible, white glow of holiness. Mental telepathy, can literally fuse together, and magic doesn’t work against them are seen. More beyond this is shrouded in myth and legend. Reincarnated lovers and immortals are seen here only sometimes. Super ultra rare. May not exist. Some say it will never happen. Never.
Ranma looked over it again and again trying to figure out what it meant. ‘Still, maybe she will stop hitting me if she is hurt every time. Aw man, looks like I have to keep my mouth shut from hurting her too much. 6 and over is going to be a pain if she asks stuff about P-can. Thank goodness he’s with Akari. I hope I don’t have to tell Akane what these rings do, she might take it wrong… what’s that on my shoulder?!”
Ranma turned around to face Akane with a hand on his shoulder looking at the now closed book then switching her gaze back to a freaked out Ranma.
“Hey Akane, uh, how long were you there?” ‘That’s what you get for being too caught up in what you’re reading stupid!”
“Long enough Ranma, so these rings glow when we are hurt?” her face didn’t look like she wanted to know the answer.
“Uh, heh-heh, um, err, yes?” ‘I’m screwed.’
“So our love is measured in colors now huh?”
‘Yep I’m doomed alright.’ “I wouldn’t say that…”
“And if I get hurt so do you?”
‘My last will… all my stuff goes to Kasumi, no one else deserves anything.’ “Yes” Ranma said in a quiet voice
“And the opposite is true too?”
“… yes.”
“Things got way more complicated haven’t they?”
‘I hate questions! I wonder if this is how pops feels when mom’s around.’ “Story of my life.”
“I think a bath will do us good. Do… ddo you want me to scrub your back R-Master?” tears were starting to form again.
‘Danger! Danger! Stop her crying NOW!!” “Akane! I… er, you don’t have to call me master you know. I won’t make you do stuff you don’t want ok. But, umm…” ‘I am WAY in over my head.’ “You can bathe with me, you know, if you want and all. Not that I want you there, its just, I won’t mind if you were there, if you don’t hit me you know…”
Akane put a hand over his mouth. “Please…” she was in tears “please don’t ruin this by talking, it’s hard enough as it is to not get angry at you. Please. Just show by your actions, you’re good with that. Besides, I… I want to do this, lets just go ok… you ARE the master. For today.” The last part was with a smile.
“Fine, Akane, I can play your game too. We’re married anyway; no one will care if we take a bath together. I’d like to be in a bath for once without you trying to drown me anyway.”
With that, they left for the bath taking a huge step in their relationship.

Nabiki and Kasumi were downstairs with Genma Panda and Soun around the table.
Soun asked “What is important enough to interrupt our Shogi game Nabiki?”
“Well you see there is something important about Ranma and Akane I need to tell you about, you see…
