[Episode 24677] [Episode 24677]"C'mon Nabiki, I didn't do 'nuthin. Aww gee, don't cry," Ranma lamented in his lame duck fashion. Ranma, as confused as ever, didn't know what to make of the girl, who presently had him in a vise-like grip.
Through the tears, Nabiki muddled out, "I'm sorry, I didn't want these feelings to come out. I know you didn't want to be stuck with a headache like me."
Through it all, Ranma's hands were still waving in the air. Then, it stuck him--"a girl like me."
"Ya' got it all wrong, Nabiki. You are cute, very cute. I like ya' Nabiki, it's just with all the other fiancee's and all," Ranma tried to reason.
"I'm sorry I sold you to them, and used you, and doubted you, and, well, I'm sorry for everything that might make you hate me," Nabiki interjected desperately looking for forgiveness, security, or both. She knew sooner or later her desires would come out, and she reasoned that the vase had turned her slight attraction to a full-blown case of dependancy.
As Nabiki tried to reason, she felt Ranma finally put his arms around her. "Hmmm," she breathed and continued her thoughts about what was going to happen. The strength she felt in the arms that she was cradled in reminded her that Ranma was about as devoted as a person can come. Whether the feelings of devotion and love were her own or not, she knew that she had always had an attraction to the gender-challenged martial artist.
She felt Ranma lay back, and just revelled in the sense of security she had discovered in his arms. Whatever caused the whole affair, she was glad that it fixaded her on Ranma. Nabiki's body tensed up as though gripped in a life or death situation when she was going to say the three little words, but Ranma's snore broke the train of though. Giving up, she squeezed him, and whispered, "Baka."
As the morning's rays danced through the glass of the window, Ranma woke up feeling a little better than usual. While his problems were really just beginning, the choice had been made. Well, made for him, but none-the-less, it was time to put an end to all of the various suitors, fiancee's, and the rivals due to the fiancees.
Unfortunately, there was a slight problem...
