"Oh?" asked Kakashi Hatake, outwardly bored. Inwardly he was boggling as scenes of the new pigtailed Might Guy demonstrating Martial Arts Cooking to his student Rock Lee played across the walls of the cavern.
"Indeed," said the dragon, and the scenes being displayed shifted.
"-and," whispered Obito Uchiha, his single eye glancing to the side, "take care of Rin too. She's always watched you..."
"Obito," said Kakashi, standing up.
"That didn't happen," said Kakashi.
"That's a problem with timelines," admitted the dragon. "Sometimes you change one thing, and something else entirely shifts."
The scene shifted again and Kakashi gaped under his mask at the result.
"Hmmm. Didn't see that coming. I guess that congratulations are in order."
"I'm married to Rin?!" asked Kakashi.
"She's a combat medic now working for ANBU when she's not playing happy homemaker."
Kakashi fainted.
"Okay. Didn't expect that either."
"Kakashi-sensei!"
What? Where am I?
"Kakashi-sensei!"
Naruto? Sakura? Why do you... the cavern?
Kakashi Hatake slowly opened his eyes to find himself laying on the ground in the forest. And appparently there was a large rock underneath him. After reaching underneath him and pulling it out, he corrected himself. It was a golf ball.
"Kakashi-sensei? Are you okay?" asked Naruto.
"Cut it out Naruto, it's normal for guys who hear news like that to react in such a manner," said Sakura, punctuating that statement by hitting Naruto atop his head.
"Dear?"
Kakashi's eye bugged as he placed the voice and zipped to his feet a moment later.
Rin was looking on in concern.
"I don't get it," said Naruto. "Why would her telling him she's gonna have his kid..."
"And down he goes again," noted Sasuke.
