Ranma considered the transformation as the teacher walked back and forth, eyeing anyone who looked inattentive. Kaede's clan had a few ninja like that, though the 'battle form' types tended to look a little less human. Child to adult - maybe a curse?

Well, it was something to study. Not like these English lessons were going to be interesting.
Kaede-clone read through the papers in her room, nodded at the end of it, then waited until first-period would be winding up before dispelling herself.
Original-Kaede twitched ever so slightly as she felt the clone's memories rejoining her own. "Ah. So that is it."
"What is it?" asked Setsuna from her chair nearby.
"The gangs are establishing pecking orders and we have apparently been signed up as a gang," said Kaede.
"Someone can register us as a gang without us knowing about it?" asked Setsuna, her voice getting a bit louder than she'd intended.
"Apparently so," agreed Kaede, her own voice perfectly calm.
Setsuna, on the other hand, was visibly agitated as she glanced at Konoka.
"What do you think of the teacher?" asked Setsuna, checking to make sure that the kid wasn't around and underfoot.
"Very British," said Kaede.
"Other than that," prompted Setsuna.
"Mage. Strong one," summed up Kaede. "When he gets agitated, his control slips."
"I thought so too," admitted Setsuna.
"Ne, really?" broke in Konoka. "White mage?"
"Probably a non-specialist," said Kaede. "Not as strong as you but with a wider range of spells and techniques. I'm more concerned with that dark presence that's been hanging around us."
"There was a dark presence hanging around us?" asked Konoka.
Kaede nodded.
