Restart Deluge! Pick Your Side: The Singularity Assimilation [Episode 249007]

by Alex Warlorn

Seventy-seven and eight hundred and ten years ago the singularity occurred. Multiple times, at once. Each one seeking to bring the sense of unity and fellowship that humanity had long sought but never found, because it was humanity itself that needed to change, and not in a small slow way.

And the old existence was shattered beyond any recognition, nobody was spared, no one was left untouched. Now immortals, they chose at this date to look back at how their world had begun and had come to be, and how the old world had finally ended.

The singularities were many, and each one had more or less had at the start the same chance of completely changing the human race into something new.

There were the imps, the size and build of children but bearing the traits physical and mental of their fiend cousins. Devoid of any modesty, shameless pranksters, carefree, mischievous, the children of chaos given physical form and sought to create an eternal playground chaos.

On the other side of the coin were the cherubs. Playful yet mindful, kind yet not foolish, hyperactive but not vicious. These angelic eternal children were as oblivious to many human traditions as the imps but not the same ones. They sough harmony, they knew from the start what they would create was paradise, but no utopia.

The werebeasts. Unlike the werewolves of legend, they were not bound by the full moon nor could return to their former human shape. But they could infect those not like them easily enough with their bite. Driven mostly by instinct, all of humanity they sought to become one pack ruled only by the laws of nature without civilization in the way.

The Cat Girl Maids. What was there really to say about them? They were perky, happy, friendly, and all female (since they were all immortal, being able to traditionally give birth wasn't that big an issue). Some were 'anthro' cats, some were 'socks and fur bikini' types, and some were the nekomini style. Some went around dressed like their name sake, some went around naked. They weren't quite sure what their new world would be like, but they wanted to find out, and that was the greatest motivation for spreading their happiness and sense of belonging.

And finally there was the love dolls. Who were almost more instinct driven then the werebeasts. They cared little for new worlds or the current one for that matter. They simply sought pleasure, and to bring others into that pleasure. They had no interest in accomplishments after the world was remade, only to please each other.

Where did the Singularities begin? Who was Patient Zero of each faction? Who was the ultimate winner of this grand conflict as humanity's pupa stage ended?
