Mischief Fragment - Wishcraft: Village Hidden Among The Girls? [Episode 249307]

by Kestral

The first time Naruto had summoned, he'd gotten twenty-four catgirls of varying age but tending towards the very young, refugees who'd been fleeing an Inhuman Enemy.

The second time he'd gotten ten dog-girls, followed by eight foxgirls, four wolfgirls, six elves, five Viera, nine dark elves, followed by two humans, followed by a group of nine humans.

The scroll was then taken away a final time and sealed away in the Hokage Tower.

Debate on its use was still hotly divided. Some argued that it was wrong to rip these people from their homes and lives even if certain death was going to occur. Some argued that it was tampering with the whole life-and-death thing. Some argued that the scroll should be destroyed just to be sure it was never used again.

Some argued that this was likely to result in entirely new bloodlines. That because of the filters - these were people who would WANT to come here. Some argued that as long as it was used sparingly, even large groups would be perfectly fine and could be absorbed without causing disruption of the society as a whole.

Toltiir had no comment on that, finding it part of the incomprehensible part of human behavior.

Many of those had been echoes of someone else from a manga or anime. Cecily, though a mi'qote/catgirl, was a redhead who was very very similar to the Cecily Cambell who featured in "Sacred Blacksmith." Tokine was almost exactly the "Kekkaishi" character Tokine Yukimura. Of course, when he'd noted such things in the transport process, he'd then HAD to give them the appropriate abilities, didn't he?

So Tokine could create Barriers. They weren't indestructible, and she was pretty much stuck with transparent boxes - but she could work out all sorts of things to do with it. Cecily, on the other hand, simply had a talent for kenjutsu.

Another result of all this was that Naruto's class in the Ninja Academy had started out with thirty members, with students dropping out for the next few years. Except now it was back to thirty students.

Iruka shook his head as he went into the classroom and the sounds of battle immediately quieted.

"Stand, Bow, Sit!"

Iruka nodded to Tokine, who had some odd customs from her previous world - but as some of those customs were also copied on various other worlds they were becoming more acceptable among large groups of the newly transplanted members of the Leaf Village.

"What started it this time?" asked Iruka of the class, noting that Sasuke's fangirl brigade looked to have fared poorly.

Kiba leaned forward eagerly as he gave his report. "Sakura and Ino found Cecily sitting next to Sasuke..."

"It's easier for me to read the board," complained Cecily, her ears flicking back.

"Cecily didn't want to give up her seat. Sakura then pulled Cecily's tail," continued Kiba. "Cecily got up and started yelling at Sakura, which was when Ino took the seat."

"Which ended up with a fight over who got the 'Sasuke seat'?" asked Iruka, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"I don't want to sit next to broody, but it's the best seat for reading the board," said Cecily, before pointing at Tokine. "I cannot give up any advantage to close the gap with my rival!"

"Why me?" asked Tokine.

Sasuke nodded. He wondered the same thing himself about his own 'rivals' after all.

"I see, well, I guess there's no getting around it," said Iruka as he considered it. "Tomorrow we'll begin assigned seating."

Sasuke looked bored as he watched the girls sparring, waiting for his own turn in the boys' match-ups.

Some of these new arrivals were strong. Some were very strong. Several had special abilities that made them interesting.

Take that girl named Tokine. Good taijutsu skills, her aim with kunai and shuriken was excellent, and her academic skills had displaced Sakura as the top-scorer. When you added her kekkei genkai of Barrier, she became all the more formidable.

The Miqo'te were interesting. So were the Viera for that matter. Likewise the Elves had their points. Any of those could bring desired qualities to the clan after he'd killed That Man. First kill That Man, then he'd have his choice of any of these new kunoichi.

"Ugh, I just got a chill," said Tokine.

Aoi Futaba sighed. "Sasuke's looking this way again, isn't he?"

Erisu's ears flicked. "Yup."

"Just continue to ignore him," said Tokine, sighing.
