"And now, the long-awaited Knight of Seven Welcoming Party shall now begin!" exclaimed Milly, who was decked out in one of her extravagant outfits as she took the microphone in the broadcast booth. "But first... a word from our guest of honour!"
Suzaku gave a weak smile, feeling a bit awkward at what he would have to do in front of the Student Council. "Um... do I have to?"
She shot a megawatt grin at the Knight of Seven. "Of course! It's an order from the President!"
"Give it up," said Lelouch from Suzaku's left side. "She's the ultimate authority at this school."
"Yeah, I know. I have no doubt of that." He accepted the microphone from Milly and took a deep breath before...
"NYAAAAA!!"
"What was that? What was that?" chirped the blue Haro held in Alice's hands as fireworks began exploding brilliantly above in the clear blue sky. Rai merely grinned as he stood right by the front gate, dressed in his Ashford Academy uniform.
"Just Milly getting Suzaku to have a little fun. Nothing serious." He glanced at the others who were sporting proper casual wear. Setsuna had gone for a dark blue jacket over a white top and dark pants. A red scarf was loosely wrapped around his neck and he sported sunglasses to conceal his eyes while a turban was there to complete the look. As he would pass for someone who came from the Middle Eastern Federation, he would be taking on his Kamal Majirif identity and pretend to be an Eighteen who's serving the family as a bodyguard and servant. Little Alice herself was in a clean blue skirt with a white blouse while Marie, who would be playing the older cousin role, had blue capri pants and a yellow halterneck on that left her shoulders and upper back exposed.
"So everybody remember the plan? Once we locate this C.C. woman, Rai is to make contact with her by himself since he would be a familiar and friendly face to her. If possible, try and cover any exit routes so that she doesn't slip off into the crowd," instructed Setsuna.
Alice nodded once. "Okay. Hey, can everyone back there see okay through Haro?"
"Video feedback signal is green and we're receiving clear visual," replied Sumeragi through everyone's hidden earpieces. "Almost makes me wish we could just take this day off and enjoy this festival like normal people."
Rai decided to get the conversation back on track. "Anyways, how should we cover the school grounds?"
"You're the one who knows the campus, Rai. What would you suggest?" asked Marie.
The white haired young man gave it some thought. "Let's see... the schedule has the Giant Pizza event kicking off at 12:30 but knowing Milly, she'll probably have someone passing out flyers a bit earlier to draw more attention to the event. C.C. will definitely want info on that event and more importantly, how to get her share of the pie. We have about three hours before the Giant Pizza event is scheduled to begin... so let's start with hitting the food stalls. Keep an eye out for anyone advertising about the pizza event and we'll go from there."
Setsuna nodded once. "Understood."
"You sure she won't go for any other event like horseback riding or that bungee jump thing?"
Rai merely chuckled once in response to Alice's question. "She's a genuine Pizza Girl. Trust me on this one."
