"So where to next?" asked Marie as she masked her amusement from Setsuna's earlier misfortune of getting hit with some 'lava' from a massive paper mache volcano display from the Science Club.
His face had already been wiped clean so he wasn't bothered. "Let's try that cafe. If they serve pizza there, then it's a likely location for that woman to appear."
"A swim club cafe, hm?" She went in with her partner to the swimming pool area where waitresses in swimsuits were taking orders from customers already seated. Before the two could scan the menu, the centre stage at the front of the pool switched on to showcase several more girls in school swimming suits... and a dark skinned Britannian woman in a very interesting white bikini.
"From cute girls..."
"... to mature ladies..."
"... welcome to the choose your poison Swimming Club cafe!" The sudden display of fanservice was a hit with most of the males and earned much applause while Marie and Setsuna just stared at her choice of swimwear.
"She... she's barely covering herself! Look at it...!"
"... I've scanned the menu. They aren't serving pizza here so let's go," said Setsuna, who stayed focused on his work.
"Uh, right..." They made their way through the crowd to the exit, while overhearing one of the students say that it was a good idea to ask their teacher for help.
And as for said teacher's only thought while trying to keep that forced smile on her face...
'Shirley... I will kill you a hundred times for this!!'
"The Guren has been confirmed so that means Kallen is probably at the Consulate General," said Suzaku as he made some notes with his feather pen on the clipboard while coordinating his plans on the laptop. He stood by outside with Milly on the Knightmare Frame that was to be used for the feature event.
"Really? That's tough," muttered Milly sitting below who idly played with a spare riding crop from the Horseracing Club. "They're the resistance but..."
Noticing the change in mood, Suzaku decided to change the subject. "Nina's doing well. She even submitted her thesis to the society."
"I wonder if she wants to complete the Ganymede."
He shrugged. "Who knows? Nina's expertise is different from Lloyd's... ah..." Crap, he shouldn't have mentioned Milly's husband-to-be.
She paused for a moment. "Did Earl Lloyd say anything?"
"No, he didn't."
"He's given up on me, has he? I delayed our wedding and stayed an extra year at school."
"No that guy...!" There was nothing wrong with Milly. In fact, all the weirdness came from that man himself. Suzaku began to shake his pen for emphasis as he started saying things to cheer the girl up. "There's a lot of things wrong with him as a man and...!"
And that was the cat's cue to grab the pen and make off with it which caused the Knight of Seven to immediately leap off the Frame and drop the clipboard to the ground so he could chase the cat. "Arthur, that's Euphy's-"
"Suzaku, the main character has to be on standby here!" shouted Milly as she chased after him.
"Um... madam?"
"Yes, what is it?" growled Nonette, not even looking up from the mountain of paperwork that she had been tackling all morning at her desk. Normally, she would have been working on this with her fellow Knights but instead, she was all alone thanks to Gino taking the sudden day off (and dragging Anya along) to check out Suzaku's party at Ashford Academy.
"These are for... you..." She looked up and saw a Britannian soldier in her temporary office at the Viceroy's palace with another pile of paperwork that needed reviewing.
"Huh?! What's that for?!"
"Well, you know of the Viceroy's special needs. Especially when it comes to accessibility and..."
"Yes, I know that!" After all, the Knight of Nine had been logging in extra time to ensure that everything was in place for the new Viceroy to make a smooth transition into power. "Grrrr... just you wait, Gino Weinberg! There will be retribution for this!!"
"Achoo!"
Cue the beep of the Digi-Diary. "Recorded."
"Real funny, Anya," muttered Gino before he turned around the corner and happened to spot a gold and purple non-combat Knightmare Frame standing by. On the ground was a clipboard while an abandoned laptop was at the top of the Frame. "What's that?"
"A Knightmare Frame."
"Thanks for stating the obvious." The Knight of Three made his way over and bent down to pick up the clipboard. "What's this? Make a giant pizza with a Knightmare?"
"Ah, so this is for that Giant Pizza event," stated the Knight of Six in her usual monotone.
"Oh, man... Commoner Schools are really something!" He paused for a moment and then grinned. "You don't suppose they would mind if I pitched in?"
This only earned a shrug from the small girl. "Do as you like."
