Tsukune was working on the idea of how to improve himself, to gain the power so he could protect the people he cared about.
'The obvious is the use of the vampire's blood, injected into me by Moka when I had to do battle with Kuyo. If I could extend the powers of the vampire beyond even the power shown by Moka, beyond just an S-Class monster. A super-vampire, while maintaining my personality and humanity. I would be strong enough to defend even the Other Moka, if she doesn't attack me for fighting her battles.
Or if I had the power of a great monster, like a dragon. The question is which kind of dragon; Western bat-winged four-legged beast with elemental powers or a long serpent like Eastern dragon with elemental powers. A dragon which could take human form, half-human half-dragon hybrid form or a true dragon form. What kind of element would best fit my personality? Or which would be best to use with my friends.
What if I had the power to duplicate the powers of any monster I defeated or my friends defeated? Or copy the powers of my friends? Or both? Like the Blue Mages from Final Fantasy?
Just with my friends I would have the strength of a vampire, the speed of a werewolf, the ice powers of a yuki onna, the magic of a witch and the powers of flight, claws, plus allure of a succubus... or at least the male version of the above. Then with defeated enemies you Kuyo on the high end...
I still have more ideas of improving myself, like making myself a monster tamer or something, to control yokai. Or merging with other powerful monsters.' thought Tsukune as he tried to decided on his favourite idea of how to give himself the power to defend others.
The gems were looking though his mind as they tried to mold his body using the powers of different combinations of the gemstones to duplicate the powers he wanted. They merely waited for their new master to pick the form he wanted.
