Result: Hand-eye coordination, strength, dexterity, and an already high stamina increased. Intelligence, artistic ability, chakra control - improved drastically. Stealth abilities were much improved. Accuracy with thrown weapons was increased though he was still behind Tenten's accuracy rating. Two taijutsu styles were added, retconned by finding old men who knew the style in question and who were able to give the kid a "few pointers" in return for little pranks he could pull on rivals or other annoyances.
He'd had the Senju bloodline, with its Wood Element, added but made latent.
Problems with his digestive tract were fixed. After all, farting his way to victory or failure would not give him any more favoritism or respect among the villagers.
Knowledge of Herbalism and First Aid was given him, retconned by the new shift in Naruto to someone who not only could read but had a fair ability to self-educate. In the retcon, this would be him wanting to learn things that the shunning adults didn't want him to learn so he could spite them that way.
Second Wish: had been that after seeing a future where Hinata would actually stand up to an S-Class Criminal for his sake, and finding out she actually LIKED him was "I wish more girls felt like that."
Result: Multiple arranged marriages. Most, as the cat-shaped being said - would normally be lost to time and faulty memories. Records would not be kept. Nothing would come of them.
Minato Namikaze made an arrangement with Hiashi Hyuga regarding Hinata Hyuga.
Kushina Uzumaki made a similar arrangement with Sakura's mother regarding Sakura.
The Third Hokage made his own arrangement with Inoichi Yamanaka regarding his daughter Ino.
Others did similar things for various reasons. Fuu of Takigakure would have come to hate all of humanity for the way she was treated by her village, and would eventually have willingly died to contribute to the destruction Akatsuki would spread. Except that now - even in her darkest moments from age six on - she would know that there was an arrangement for her marriage to a boy of Konohagakure. A thin hope perhaps, but a hope nonetheless.
Shion, priestess of the Land Of Demons, likewise knew of her arrangement early on due to her mother. Koyuki, princess of the Land Of Snow, also learned of her father's arrangement to the godson of Jiraiya of the Leaf fairly early in life. Haku, who ended up wandering shortly after learning of it - was also aware of the engagement but not sure what to make of it.
Haruna, daughter of the daimyo of the Land Of Vegetables, also knew of the engagement. Though she had many other concerns that were far more pressing.
There were others of course. Jiraiya well knew that most of the arrangements would be forgotten, but saw this as a way of establishing connections. A contact here or there he had an excuse of keeping tabs on, a conversation starter that would disarm various listeners, and so on. Jiraiya wasn't the only one though, because when Tsunade learned of it - she made a few of her own. Why not? She could put that on the betting table, citing that she was a concerned relative as the Uzumaki clan HAD considerable ties to the Senju clan. It wasn't like it meant anything, right?
Kushina had been a good friend of Mikoto Uchiha, the two having known each other since the Academy, and since Mikoto had two boys had made no arrangement with Kushina. That didn't mean that she couldn't put the idea in a few heads and have something be said as looking out for the child of that old friend. Whether that particular individual even survived past the Massacre would be pretty iffy.
In a space outside normal space/time, Naruto Uzumaki was watching this and twitching.
"Anyway," said the cat. "That's two wishes down. Do you want to make your third and last wish?"
Naruto twitched a bit. The first wish had gone off how he'd wanted for the most part. The second wish had gone off and blown up in an odd direction. Now he had to make his FINAL wish?
