Cheetah 1/2 - Diggers: The New Sailor Neptune [Episode 25277]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

Ranma blinked as he looked down to the ground. Brendan lay there, apparently lifeless. He couldn't help but whistle in appreciation of the swift and precise action Julia had taken against the evil werewolf. "Mrs. Diggers, that was incredible!"

Julia couldn't help but smirk. "Ranma, If you think that was impressive display of skill, you should have seen some of my other fights."

Ranma nodded his head. He knew what Julia meant. He was an avid reader of Gold Digger, and one of his favorite aspects of the series was the fights. The way Julia kicked all butt was incredible, like when he read the issues that detailed the most recent Tournament of Arms.

Theo walked around, checking out the damage. He was feeling somewhat depressed. Even if the zombies were now monsters, it was such a waste of life. These people hadn't done anything wrong, and they ended up getting killed and changed into lower-powered demons because of his father. Theo was silently vowing to himself that this would be it. His father would have to be stopped once and for all.

Nabiki was somewhat annoyed as she picked through the wallets that belonged to the decimated remains of the people. Oh well. Their loss. Nabiki knew she was almost turned into them, but she was able to save her own hide. If these people weren't able to save themselves, than it was their own fault...

Nabiki stopped as she looked through a wallet. This one had belonged to one of the male zombies... It didn't bother her that she was taking his money, but she found a photograph in there. One of what must have been the man, and he was holding a small girl, (possibly) in his arms.

Nabiki dropped the wallet. She wasn't feeling so sure of herself now. Sure, she had money now... But what good was it. Her family was gone... Just as the father was now gone to the little girl in the Photo. "Damn Lich..."

Brianna and Sheila were standing by Ranma. He just seemed so awed by what was going on around them, especially as he stared down at the fallen form of Brendan. They were hoping Ranma would get out of his awe soon. They wanted to have a talk with him.

Jetta walked over to the fallen form of her father. The man that ruined her life. The man that had betrayed his clan, and destroyed not only the honor of the werewolf clan, but also managed to eradicate the werecheetah clan almost entirely. "Burn in hell, father."

However, Jetta was then surprised as Brendan's eyes snapped wide open. She cursed her mistake. She realized that Brendan, while an Energy Ghost, was still a Lycanthrope. Even though Julia has snapped Brendan's neck, the Lycanthrope would have easilly been able to heal the damage.

The others were shocked as Brendan was on his feet in a split second. He had his daughter pressed against the outside wall of the Tomoe Mansion, his fingers grasped tightly around his neck. "You little traitorous BITCH! Helping our enemies! Helping the WERECHEETAHS! YOU WILL DIE!!!

Jetta stared back at her father defiantly, her hands grasping tightly at Brendan's hand which was wrapped tightly around her throat. It was cutting off her breathing, and as he kept adding pressure he would soon snap her neck. And she would not be able to heal that.

Ranma saw this, and held his breath. Brendan had Jetta and he was about to kill her. Ranma couldn't stand himself to stand still. Jetta was one of his heroes. He would not stand by and watch her be killed. It was then that Ranma felt something inside him snap. "STOP IT!!!"

The Ginzuishou started glowing with a brilliant blue light. Brendan stopped in his tracks. He dropped Jetta and started yelling out in pain. The light from the Ginzuishou was concetrating on him. He could feel it literallt tearing him apart. "NO! THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING! I WAS SO CLOOOOOOOOOSSEEE..."

The Diggers and Nabiki were shocked to see Brendan literally break down into a mist-like form. His essence was pracitcally sucked into the Ginzuishou in an almost vaccuum-like effect.

The light show stopped and Ranma pracitcally fell down, but thankfully, Brianna and Sheila were standing at either side of him, so they were able to hold him up. Ranma looked at the Ginzuishou on his wrist. It was glowing a bright blue color... He blinked his eyes once, then twice. It hit him like a sack full of bricks. "Blue Moon..."

"Blue Moon?" Sheila asked, having heard Ranma mutter.

"Brianna blinked her eyes. "Hey! Where'd your shield go? It disappeared when that light went off."

Ranma ignored Brianna's commet. he just continued to stare at the crystal on the back of his left hand. "The Ginzuishou is no more... It's now the Blue Moon Crystal..."

Nabiki blinked. "Blue Moon?"

"A Blue Moon is a special night for Lycanthrope..." Sheila explained. "That is when you have a full moon a second time in one month. That is also the one night that Lycanthrope's weakness to silver is anulled."

Jetta walked up to Ranma. She was holding a Pure Heart Crystal in her hand. "What do we do with this? It was left behind once Brendan disappeared."

Ranma studied the crystal in Jetta's hand and closed his eyes.

Smirking superiorly, Urd commented, "What do you thijnk of THAT change?"

"Changing the Ginzuishou into the Blue Moon Crystal was a bold move, Urd..." Sehkmet said solemnly. "Hopefully, nothing else will go wrong, hmm?"

Urd narrowed her eyes. Why was it none of the other goddesses had faith in her abilities? True, she didn't have the best track-record, but she knew what she was doing.

"Who cares if this works well or not!" Athena said. "The point is, I got my Shield back, and now Father will stop bothering me."

The other Goddesses stared at Athena for a moment, then went back to looking into the scrying pool.

The Diggers and Nabiki watched as Ranma held the Pure Heart Crysal. He studied it for a long, long while. Just holding it in his hands. All of a sudden, he smiled. "I think we just found a new ally."

"What do you mean, Ranma?" Theo asked. He had finished checking Jetta, and the way Ranma was acting was making him curious. The boy seemed so overwhelmed by the gem he held. Though Theo had to admit, he could feel an incredibly strong essence of purity coming off the crystal, but he wasn't too sure what was so special about it.

Ranma walked over the battle grounds. He picked up the shield that Brendan had left behind once Ranma used the Blue Moon Crystal to zap the monster's power and essence. Walking over to the battle-field, he then picked up the remains of Sailor Neptune's fuku. He then placed the shield with the shiny side down onto the ground, placing teh remains of fuku on top.

"I hope this works..." Ranma thought as he held up his left hand. He wasn't too sure of himself, he was new to this, but he had a feeling he could do this. Deep down, he feel that he needed to accomplish this. "Please... Let me be able to bring Kasumi back."

The Blue Moon Crystal went to work. Using Brendan's essences, it went to work, using Ranma's memories as blue prints for what Kasumi was and how Ranma wanted her to be.

The Diggers and Nabiki watched in amazement. The Pure Heart Crystal began to grow larger and grow with a aquamarine light. The Sigil of Neptune could be seen in it. Finally, the Pure Heart Crystal exploded in a burst of light, everyone had to cover their eyes.

Finally, when the light settled and the people could see, the Diggers were on awe by the sight. Before them stood a new figure. Wearing the refurbished fuku of the Senshi of Neptune and weilding the 'Super Talisman' that was the Mirror Shield was a new female werewolf. She blinked her eyes and looked herself over, honestly looking surprised. Finally she managed to bring herself to talk. "Oh my... What happened now?"

Nabiki's eyes shot wide, she recognized the voice. "KASUMI!?"

The Werewolf Senshi of Neptune turned her head to the voice. "Oh! Nabiki! It's so good to see you again." Kasumi was then surprised when Nabiki lunged at her and caught her in a tight hug.

"Kasumi..." Nabiki said, trying to hold back tears.

Kasumi just hugged her younger sister back tightly. "Oh, Nabiki..."

Jetta was surprised. The werecheetah had created a new female werewolf. She looked back at Ranma, honestly impressed.

Ranma smiled "Heh... I didn't think that was gonna work." Having spent some of his own energies, and the essence of Brendan to bring Kasumi back, Ranma dropped to one knee and then fell forward. He started to lose consciousness as everyone started crowding around him.

(------)

The other goddesses staed at Urd.

"So," Bastet started, "I can understand Ranma using the Ginzui-er-I mean, the Blue Moon Crystal to bring Kasumi back to life. I can even accept him maijng her the new Sailor Neptune." Bastet then eyes Urd critically. "But how in the opposite side of the fence did Kasumi turn into a WEREWOLF!?"

Urd blushed and scratched the back of her head. "Er, I think I made a slight miscalculation..."

"Now there's an understatement..." Sif muttered.

Urd glared at Sif for a moment, then looked back at Bastet. "I guess since I reprogrammed to Ginzuishou to be more beneficial to Lycanthrope, it may have used the Lycanthropy from Brendan's essence as a 'base type setting'."

Bastet stared at Urd, "Meaning?"

Urd gulped. "Meaning that it's very possible that now whoever he heals will become a werewolf if they aren't a Lycanthrope already."

The goddesses just stared at the Norn. "DANG IT, URD!!!"
