That particular gambling boss/Yakuza lordling died two hours later when a lesser name among his gang decided to grab everything valuable and head off on his own.
That didn't go over well with those loyal to the old lordling, and they managed to hunt down that fugitive and kill him in a messy manner.
Which left a certain necklace sitting on the ground three weeks after Tsunade had gambled it away.
Despite that the moon was not visible in the sky, or even had a current line-of-sight with Konoha, Destroyer worked.
Stored energy patterns reconverted to matter and slammed into a target.
Honestly, there was something pleasantly ironic about asteroids that had been plummeting towards a civilized world once - now being used to construct another world altogether.
Had there been a way to convey this to Deidara and Sasori, the two would have found odd common ground again in agreement of that irony.
The Destroyer simply continued as the core of the new world melted from pressure and impacts and begun its spin.
"Due to food bills, we're suggesting that you 'retire' Lina and Ifurita for the time being," said the chunin.
"Oh." Naruto considered that. Lina could put away a good amount.
