One of the other Senshi had been to England. One of the other Senshi had briefly met a cute boy in England who'd been into an author named JRR Tolkein. One of the other Senshi had never gotten to date said boy, but had some familiarity with the source material as a plan for getting that date.
Minako was wracking her brain, trying to remember details.
"Uhm, are there any special servitors of these two possessing spirits?" Ami asked, beginning to twitch a little.
"You mean the uruk-hai or the nazgul?" innocently asked the mouseboy.
"Gurk!"
Everyone familiar with Ami stared at her making such an inelegant comment.
The mouseboy continued his explanation with a worried look at the girl. "Uhm, there's been talk about them, about summoning old ones or making new ones. I think the decision was made to make new ones. Miss, are you all right?"
Ami's eyes were wild. Nine Senshi. Nine Rings For Mortal Man. She could see this coming. She didn't like it. "Everyone. If someone offers you a nice shiny gold ring. Run like hell."
Ami making such a statement caused even more staring.
