The Doctor Is In: The Hammer of Passion and the Weaver of Shadows [Episode 254155]

by Gorgo

"But first of all, let's handle this issue," Warlock said as he pointed up to the sky.

The Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, the headmaster of Hogwarts/Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards and the young chain-smoking agent of the Kantô Magical Association/English teacher at the Mahora Academy all blinked before they turned to look at where the transformed Harry Potter was pointing…and then they gaped. "Oh, my!" Albus Dumbledore gasped. "Harry, how on Earth did you get THAT to happen?!"

People turned to look…

"HEY!" Megane called out. "RUPA'S PIGS ARE EATING THE MUSHROOMS!"

A wild cheer exploded from the crowd as the Warlock smiled. "I ran into Lady Lofting when I came here and got her to go talk to the pigs," he explained.

"Ah! The All-Speaker, you mean," Stephen Strange stated, nodding in understanding.

"I don't know that person, Strange-sama," Takahata Takamichi noted.

"She's a telepath and clairvoyant who has the ability to communicate with and be understood by all animal species, young man," the former surgeon answered. "She's a close friend of Soul Searcher." He nodded to the telepath from Nakano, now chatting away with Carcajou, Wolverine and the just-revealed Wildflower. "Remember the incident with Gojira two years ago? When it appeared that his adopted son had vanished?"

Takahara gaped. "That's right! This girl appeared out of nowhere and…!"

"That was Lady Lofting," Warlock stated. "Her proper Yizibajohei battle-name wouldn't make sense here on Earth, so she changed it to use the family name of the author of Doctor Doolittle." As the three older mages laughed, the leader of the Cosmic Mage Guild gazed up at the Oni cruiser. "I wonder what Cremisi is doing right now."

"'Cremisi,'" Harry?" Dumbledore asked.

"She's a FISS-type like Wildflower and Rampage, Professor. Basic package of flight, superhuman strength, super speed and invulnerability. She's also trained herself to use a magically and metaphysically-hardened war hammer that had been made for her by the Weaponeer. She lives in Nerima." The transformed Harry then whispered a spell that the older mages were quick to sense formed a notice-me-not field. "Her real name is Tendō Akane; she's one of the girls who wound up engaged to Saotome Ranma."

"Ah, yes, Ranma," Dumbledore stated. "I've heard of him. Wandering martial artist. Perhaps the best of his current generation. Is he like you, Harry?"

"Not yet, Professor," Warlock answered before he gazed on the friend of the famous Thousand Master. "Do you know of the Neko-ken training, Mister Takahata?"

Takahata went pale. "That training was OUTLAWED!" he snapped. "Who on Earth…?!"

"It was a big mistake made by Ranma's father," the leader of the Cosmic Mage Guild answered. "Right after Ranma — once he had fallen into the Neko-ken madness — emerged from the pit of starving cats…" — saying that made both Strange and Dumbledore pale — "…he was intercepted by Ataru, who had come to Earth to find another 'pretty girl' to help get a Gift. The Lady Negako was with him at the time. She helped Ranma recover. After that, Ranma refused to consider getting a Gift — his father particularly didn't care for the idea at the time — and they were on their way. But since Akane and both her sisters are Gifted, he might change his mind."

"I see…" Dumbledore breathed out, and then he perked as he came to consider something else. "Does Tom know of your powers?"

"He does. When I was portkeyed to the cemetery outside Little Hangleton at the end of the Triwizard and Cedric was killed by Peter Pettigrew, I decided enough was enough and it was time to let Riddle and his friends understand what they were really taking on."

"That was three months before the First Tag Race," Strange noted.

A nod. "Yes, Doctor. I should've realised that Riddle — despite his hatred of all things mundane — would still have kept links with the normal world. Now that I think about it, it wouldn't have been hard to discover all our empathic links to Ataru." He gazed on Dumbledore. "Pansy Parkinson owes a Life Debt to Moroboshi Ataru, Professor. Broom accident when she was nine; he saved her from having her neck broken. She is Gifted like I am; she's granted me permission to inform you of this."

"And Pansy's parents were secret supporters of Tom," Dumbledore finished.

"Yes. Right now, Pansy is punishing them most severely for their bad choices, and then she plans to get over here to see Ataru. Others in the Guild who have Death Eater relations are making them learn those lessons as well." The Warlock smirked. "I don't think Tom will like that."

"How many girls fancy that boy?" Dumbledore then asked.

"A baker's dozen," Warlock answered. "The two main contenders are Rampage — she's the girl that dealt with the tidal wave that was about to swamp Indonesia four years ago — and Terra; she's a mercenary and assassin whom Ataru helped become Landsline." Of course, the story of the woman born Tara Markova was much more complicated than that — especially with her now being part of the new incarnation of the Titans — but Warlock knew he really had no right to reveal that helter-skelter to people she never interacted with. "Still, Pansy — she calls herself Shadow Weaver — has a good chance. I can sense the Gift Ataru just obtained."

"What did he get, Harry?" Carcajou asked as she and her friends looked over.

"One of the Nameless, Ryūnosuke," he answered before Soul Searcher could. "He chose the name 'Hoko.' Written with the characters for 'wandering tiger' in Japanese."

"Ah! That'll be an interesting Gift," Wildflower mused.

"Tell me, ladies, are any of you the ones who fancy Ataru?" Dumbledore then asked. "As I recall, Shinobu, you were actually dating him before Lum came."

"I was…but to be honest, Kōchō-sensei, Ataru is practically an adopted brother to me," Wildflower answered. "It could work out, but I have someone else in mind."

"Inaba?" Carcajou asked.

An amused smile crossed the transformed Miyake Shinobu's face. "The answer will amaze you, Ryūnosuke. So when am I going to meet YOUR lover?"

A laugh. "Let's go inside. She's here," the transformed Fujinami Ryūnosuke said.

"What of yourself?" Strange then asked Soul Searcher.

"I'm still thinking on my options, Doctor. But like Shinobu-chan here, I tend to think of Ataru-kun more as a friend than anything else," the telepath from Nakano answered before she blinked, and then gazed up at the orbiting Oni cruiser. "Oh, dear…"

"What?" Takahata asked.

"Looks like Akane-chan's enjoying a little stress relief…at the Oni's expense."

"Pity," the Warlock humourlessly noted.

"And she didn't invite ME into this?"

That was Rampage, who had just flown down from Ataru's bedroom to join them. As the onlookers gasped on recognising the Charging Belle of the Heavens, the transformed Harry Potter winked at his friend from California. "Have fun."

"Damn straight I will!" the transformed Jessica Wakefield said as she soared off…

Aboard the Redet Glory

"You…CAN'T do this…!"

Rupa then gasped as the sharp axe-like edge of a VERY big war hammer came to rest on his exposed throat. "Do not tell me what I can and can't do, normal!" the cold and angry voice of the woman born Tendō Akane — now the current incarnation of the Hammer of Passion, Cremisi — hissed throughout the main lounge of the Oni cruiser as she glared intently at him. "YOU are the ones that made this mess and allowed it to get so out of control! So YOU get to be the people that clean it up! I don't give a damn about THAT bitch's feelings!" She pointed to a cowering Lum, who had hid herself behind a knocked-over table when Cremisi had smashed her away aboard through one of the large viewing portals at the forward end of this space. "There are SEVEN BILLION people alive on this planet! She's just ONE stupid SAME! Guess who wins out in my mind, pretty boy?!" Her eyes then narrowed. "Put it down, stupid!"

A gargled, choked breath escaped Carla — who had reached for her personal rocket launcher when this red-clad woman had come aboard to deliver some serious pain to both the man she loved and the woman he was being forced into marrying — as she felt a pair of dark brown eyes focus on her. "Or do you wish me to BEHEAD him?!" Cremisi snarled.

THAT made Carla drop her weapon…as the shadows off to one side began to wreathe and move. As the Yaminokuni warrior-maiden felt a terrible CHILL surge past her, a voice with a noticeable English accent began to titter out of nowhere. "My, my, my…typical same behaviour. Thinking they're the masters of the Universe…and when they're shown how SMALL they all are, they wail like little babies who broke their toys and then acted as if it wasn't their fault. How typical…"

"Hey, Pansy-chan! What are you doing here?" Cremisi asked.

The shadows then morphed into a teenage woman with raven hair and dark brown eyes, though possessing Caucasian facial features. She was in a black jumpsuit of the typical Yizibajohei pattern — Cremisi, for ease of movement, wore a form-fitting suit with black highlights and her own crossed hammer-and-lightning bolt insignia on her left breast, all that atop black buccaneer boots — with a black rune-lined cape over it. Her very pretty face — At least she's grown up enough to make her nose look better on her, the transformed Akane mused to herself — was also covered in runes. "What do you think, Akane?" the transformed Pansy Parkinson — the current incarnation of the Seamstress of the Shadow Realm, Shadow Weaver — then asked. "A man I swore a LIFE DEBT to was KIDNAPPED, BRAINWASHED and then forced to bow to SAMES?!" She turned to glare intently at Lum, who ducked that icy look. "How would you feel?"

Cremisi blinked. "Your parents…?"

"They knew about it," Shadow Weaver replied. "Paid a fortune — a fortune that rightly belongs to ME given their treason against the Throne — to hire hit wizards to go and blank the minds of all those who weren't empathically bonded to Ataru. Me…"

The martial artist from Nerima nodded. "Yeah, I remember something like that now. Some idiot in a suit with glasses came up and flashed something in my eyes…"

"That sounds like a neuraliser."

Both girls perked, and then they turned as Ten floated closer to them. Seeing her own cousin get close to two of They Who Must Never Be Named — especially since one of them appeared to have been VERY close to Moroboshi Ataru, which automatically reared a very jealous reaction from her — Lum cried out, "Ten-chan! Stay away from them! They'll hurt you! Look what they did to you when they took over Darling's house!"

"No, they won't hurt me, Lum-chan!" Ten protested. "This is Akane-onēchan! She's one of Ranma-oniinēchan's wives!" As Cremisi blushed on hearing that, he added, "She won't hurt me! She actually beat up a bunch of boys who were picking on me!"

"Defending a SAME, Akane?" Shadow Weaver then teased.

"He's a meta, Pansy-chan. He's a pyrokinetic. He breathes fire from his mouth."

The witch from England perked, and then she gazed in amusement at Ten, who instantly blushed as her eyes fell on him. "Is he now? My, is there some hope for the Oni?"

"Probably," a strange voice then hailed from nearby. "But we'd have to break a certain someone of the way she looks on the man WE claimed a long time ago, Pans."

Shadow Weaver looked over. "Jessica!" she said as Rampage floated over to land on the deck nearby through the massive hole in the hull Cremisi had made when she had smashed her way aboard. "How are you, Jess? Still making the boys drool over you?"

The transformed Jessica Wakefield laughed as she walked over to embrace her friend, they sharing a sisterly kiss. "Pity it wasn't the RIGHT man all along. So how's your snake-skin purse?" she then asked as she gave the witch from England a knowing look.

"Still turning heads, my dear," the transformed Pansy replied as she watched in amusement as Rupa — who STILL had his throat's integrity threatened by Cremisi's war hammer — began to sputter angrily at the fact that the Yizibajohei were interfering in business that was none of their concern. As Cremisi's free hand formed a fist to smash into his face, crushing his nose as he was flung against a bulkhead, Shadow Weaver added, "Not to mention resistant to all known spells, even the Unforgivables."

"Maybe we should get our basilisk off Yiziba and unleash it on Uru," Rampage mused. "THAT might make these morons think twice before they do things they shouldn't."

"Jessica, that's utterly cruel!" A chuckle. "But quite poetic. The Oni have no understanding of magic whatsoever. They'd be helpless against a basilisk."

"What's a basilisk?" Ten asked.

"The King of Serpents, Young Master Ten," the weaver of the Shadow Realm answered, making Ten instantly blush. "A rather large snake with the ability to petrify anyone that it gazes upon. At my magic school, there was a rather large one — about twenty metres all told — in one of the hidden chambers below the dungeons. After we got rid of the one that was making the poor thing attack helpless students, we moved her and her eggs to our adopted home planet so they could all have quiet lives for themselves."

"Not to mention have all sorts of animals to hunt and eat," Rampage added.

"So you're all really from Earth?" Ten asked.

"That's right," Cremisi said. "I'm from Nerima. Pansy's from Lancaster in England. And Jessica's from a small town in California near Los Angeles." She then impishly grinned. "None of us are natives of the Scary Place." She had overheard Ten use the phrase "Scary People" to refer to her when she had come aboard.

"So why'd Ataru take you to the Scary Place anyway?"

"Because our planet is almost at the cusp of its own Dawn of Power," Shadow Weaver explained. "So many metahumans — both naturally-born and those who gain powers from accidents — are appearing all over the planet, it's not safe for pretty girls like us to live our lives in peace and harmony. Dear Ataru didn't want that."

Ten blinked. "I never knew there were metas on the planet!"

"Have you ever heard of Superman?" Rampage asked.

A nod. "Yeah, but he's just one guy!"

"There are many more like him, Ten-chan," Cremisi stated. "Something tells me that whoever it was that your uncle contacted before the Tag Race began downplayed the amount of metas on Earth. No doubt because they knew of all of us."

Ten blinked. "Why, Akane-onēchan?! We wanted to make sure you stayed safe from the Ipraedies and the Seifukusu! We didn't want to invade the planet!"

"Who are the Ipraedies and the Seifukusu?" Rampage asked.

"They're races that would gladly desire to conquer this planet and turn all of you into slaves. Those of you who might have survived such a conquest."

All three Terrans-turned-Yizibajohei blinked on hearing that strange voice, and then they turned to gaze on the man that had just walked into the room. "Oh, my Heavens!" Shadow Weaver then gasped. "And you are, most handsome sir…?"

"Nassur of Vos," the brown-haired, blue-eyed man appearing to be in his late twenties — his pointed ears indicating he wasn't a pure Terran-type human — stated as he smiled politely at them. "I'm not aware of your real names, but I am known to your friend Moroboshi Ataru. Given what I just heard you say — I tapped into the ship's security systems from my own ship — you must all be close friends of his."

Rampage blinked, and then her eyes widened. "Oh, yeah! You're the escaped psi-hunter that became a bounty hunter; you work at the base built into the Rock of Warps with your wife and kids. Ataru met you just after he moved to Yiziba to help his sister get out of his head." She ignored the croaks of fear from the non-Yizibajohei in the room, though Ten didn't react as badly as the older people. "Why are you here?"

"I was sent by Crown Princess Lupica, the administrative head of the Galactic Federation of Planet-States," Nassur stated before he turned to gaze with a mixed look of anger and disappointment at Lum, who instantly winced on sensing that stare. "She — not to mention most of the heads-of-state and heads-of-government in the Federation — are very upset with you now, Lum-cha. Not to mention yourself, Rupa."

Rupa — who was being tended to by Carla — winced on hearing that. "What do you mean?!" Invader snapped. "We were given full rights of first contact…!"

"First contact, yes," Nassur calmly declared as he gazed neutrally at the large Oni warlord, clearly not intimidated by Invader's bluster. "Trying to DESTROY a planet's whole ECO-SYSTEM? No. Thus — despite all of Ōgi's protests, not to mention the protests from Upa and Lana — the Federation is ordering your full withdrawal from this planet. Not to mention ordering your daughter to RENOUNCE all claims on Moroboshi Ataru. ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME!" His eyes narrowed. "If you don't comply…!"

Lum turned white. "No…Natsu-cha, please…!"

Nassur sighed. "Lupica will immediately contract out for your life, Lum-cha," he quietly said. "Not to mention anyone that helps you, even your so-called 'most faithful.'" As Lum nearly choked on her breath after hearing that, he then added, "And I can tell you now that she's very tempted to contact Lobo about this."

The non-Yizibajohei all turned sheet-white on hearing the name of the Last Czarnian. "No…!" Invader croaked out; the infamous "Main Man" was renowned throughout the local cluster for being someone who ALWAYS made his mark when he took on a job. And given his inherent regenerative abilities and his other powers — which often made people in the local cluster wonder if he wasn't really one of the You Know Whos — there was simply NO WAY of stopping him. "Why…? If we're not here…!"

Nassur sighed. "Captain, this is the reason I warned you NOT to come here in the first place," he stated. "You know your daughter — to say anything of her friends — were NEVER taught how to behave when dealing with a culture like Earth's. I've heard of all the things that's happened here since Lum-cha mistook what Ataru said at the last day of the Tag Race as a proposal for marriage!" As Lum squawked out on hearing that, the expat Vosian sighed. "I'm sorry. I was sent here because I AM your friend to make you all see reason about this. I KNEW all along about all the Terrans who have become Yizibajohei…and would you all please STOP that?" he then hissed out as all the non-Yizibajohei in the room croaked on hearing that. "Given Ataru's involvement with them, something like this was bound to happen."

"Why didn't ya say anything, Nassur-cha?!"

He turned to gaze on Ten. "Ten-cha, I didn't learn what was really going on with Ataru until about a week ago," he sadly stated. "That's when the man who first brought Ataru to Yiziba caught up to me and explained what had happened."

Ten blinked; he had winced on hearing the Scary Place's name again, but he could also sense the sadness in Nassur's voice. "He was really KIDNAPPED?!" he then asked as he floated over to gaze into the Vosian's blue eyes. "Made to FORGET all his friends?! Made to forget his SISTER, too?! He was MADE to do the Tag Race?!"

"Yes," the older man answered, inwardly glad that Ten's own sense of propriety was now making itself felt. "When he was effectively brainwashed into doing that, not only was he affected…but all those who got their own special Gifts thanks to him were affected, too. Like these ladies here." He waved to Rampage, Cremisi and Shadow Weaver in emphasis. "Atop that, Miyake Shinobu and Fujinami Ryūnosuke — Wildflower and Carcajou as they're known by on Yiziba — were also hurt by this." As Lum cried out on hearing what her former rival actually was, Nassur sighed. "Ten, think about it for a moment. Even if you are afraid of the people who lived on that planet, have they EVER done anything that really warrants such a fear?!"

Ten blinked. "W-w-well, they did the M-m-Mother of All F-f-fight Scenes…!"

"Ten, WHY did that happen?"

He gazed on Rampage, and then he hummed. "I dunno…"

"Well, I'll tell you what happened. Because, in a sense, I was there," the American-born meta stated. "My fifteenth incarnation — his name back then was Lireta Pietbezgu — was the one selected to be Yiziba's champion when the Oni came to 'conquer' us." She made finger-quotes on saying that. "That version of me beat the Oni champion — a girl named Redet Danu, I recall — in a little over seven seconds." As Ten gaped at her, the transformed Jessica Wakefield chuckled. "I can fly, too, remember?" As Ten snickered on hearing that, she then said, "So we won the Tag Race. But then the guy who was in charge of the 'invasion' accused us of CHEATING!" As Ten gasped, Rampage shook her head. "Which he later came to regret after we trashed his fleet."

Ten blinked. In galactic kindergarten, he had learned that the leader of the invasion force to the Scary Place was one of Rei's distant ancestors, Seq Joth. The historical records all stated that the crews of the invasion fleet had survived to return back to Uru, though they had lost all their ships along the way. That had been a half-month before the Mother of All Fight Scenes began. "So why did you do that, Onē-chan?!" He then caught himself. "Um, I mean, why did Lireta-oniichan do that?!"

A smirk. "He fell in love with Danu, Ten."

Silence.

More silence.

Still more silence.

And then…

"He DID?!" Ten gasped as Invader and Lum both gagged on hearing THIS.

A nod. "And Danu loved him back. He was very gentle with her when he made the tag; after all, we can dead-lift the weight of MOUNTAINS without breaking a sweat."

"They actually were married by your customs, Ten," Shadow Weaver stated. "My past-self was a witness to it. Danu was even offered the chance to enter the Cave of the Future and gain a Gift from the Great Crystal of Power. She became Tempest."

"That's probably where all your extra powers came from, Ten-chan," Cremisi stated. "Not to mention Lum's. There were a few Yizibajohei — mostly among the Nameless; people who had power but never used battle-names like ours — who did go to Uru to help protect people when Jessica-san's past-self and her friends went to rescue Danu-san."

Ten jolted. "RESCUE HER?! From WHAT?!"

"Being experimented on when people on Uru discovered her Gift," Nassur answered. "The Lady Danu was part of a growing group of Urusian nobles who were becoming very displeased at the way the Imperial Houses were treating the common folk. Ran's kinswoman Aruka Syl came from that group." As Ten nodded, he added, "The Lady Danu and Master Lireta were soul-bound once she became Tempest. She had been prepared to move off Uru to join him on Yiziba when Lord Joth ordered her capture so she could be analysed and her powers better understood. He felt it…and came to her rescue. With friends."

"A ton of friends came with him when it happened, Ten-chan," Cremisi stated. "My past-self was part of that group. When we got to Uru, we found her nearly comatose. Not to mention having been raped and forced to conceive several children." As Ten winced on hearing that, the transformed Akane then added, "Which she would never see born."

"Chances are excellent that those children — since the technology was available at the time to allow them to mature without being in their mother's womb — were adopted by several of the Imperial Houses back then," Shadow Weaver then mused.

"That can't be true…!"

Rampage turned to glare at Invader. "It IS true, you stupid same!" she snarled, which made him back away as she spun on him. "I can SEE it in my own MEMORIES! All Danu ever wanted when she got picked to play your silly tag race was a life of her own to live BEYOND all the stupid RULES your society forced on girls like her! She never wanted to be a fuckin' BREEDING MACHINE to create the next generation of dictators on your planet! She wanted a husband who would love her and respect her for what she was, not who her ancestors were!" She then blinked before gazing at Lum. "Like you in a way."

Lum jolted, pointing to herself. "M-m-me…?"

"Yeah," the Californian stated. "You knew you were breaking your race's customs by declaring Ataru to be your husband when he said 'For marriage' when he tagged you. Which he only did ONCE in the context of a TAG RACE!"

"That's not supposed to happen!"

That was a shocked Ten. "Ten-chan, what were you told?" Cremisi stated.

"Lum-chan said that Ataru tagged her horns and said he wanted to marry her, Akane-onēchan!" the young Oni protested. "I always though he did it AFTER he beat her!"

The three Yizibajohei shook their heads. "There was only one time Ataru touched Lum's horns. And that was to win the Tag Race, Young Master Ten," Shadow Weaver stated. "Thus, by your planet's traditions, she and he are NOT married." She then stared at Invader. "You knew about this, didn't you?" she demanded. "Why did you allow it?"

Invader awked. "B-b-because Lum didn't want t-t-to marry Rei…"

The transformed Pansy blinked. "Who?"

"He's a metamorph, Pansy-san," Cremisi stated. "Gorgeous as all get out but dumb as a post and always hungry. He came here shortly after Lum began living here full time to try to persuade her to come back to him. He's been a big pain in Ataru-kun's posterior because of that. Atop that, that psycho airhead Ran has a crush on him."

A sigh. "Damn! I should have stayed behind to get the full briefing from Hermione about what's been happening here! She always knew about things here…"

"Even when she was made to forget she was Thaumaturge, Pansy?" Rampage asked.

"Indeed. She's always found aliens to be quite fascinating people even if very few have ever come to England. Then again, given how many other alien races have come to Earth on the pretext of invading us, that's more than understandable."

"There've been MORE aliens trying to attack Earth, Pansy-onēchan?!" Ten gasped.

"Oh, I'm afraid so, Ten," Shadow Weaver stated. "Our little world is something of an INTERGALACTIC crossroads when it comes to alien races. Races from other GALAXIES have been by here to stir up all sorts of trouble. Fortunately for us, all those attempts failed…thanks mostly to a lot of metahumans living in America at this time."

"Impossible!"

"What's so impossible?" Rampage asked Invader.

"Those other people were bit players!" the large Oni warlord snarled. "They normally came here in small groups of ships! The Terrans beat them back easily!"

"Yes, that's true. But I don't believe you understand what COULD have happened if any of those 'bit players' got SERIOUS!" Shadow Weaver snapped. "Merlin's Beard, you stupid sames are so bloody IGNORANT! Have you REALLY seen what's going on here?!"

"That's doubtful, miss," Nassur stated. "What direct observations might have been made by Federation member-states on Earth normally come from Triton, Princess Oyuki's home planet. Given the sheer distance between Earth and Neptune, not to mention their normal adherence to the Non-Interference Treaty that — until last year your time — FORBADE any direct contact with Earth…they clearly missed a lot."

"How do YOU know all this?!" Invader demanded.

"I've had to chase criminals to Earth on occasion. I was briefed on the situation many times by the Special Committee on Alien Activities," the Vosian replied. "They were nice enough to help and make sure news of such incursions never went out." A sigh. "I don't know what possessed them to do what they did with Ataru, though. If they only ASKED him to not use his ninjutsu skills on Lum, it would have been easy."

"We believe there was interference in that issue by magicals from my homeland, Master Hunter," Shadow Weaver warned. "The man who murdered Warlock's parents learned of his Gift about three months before these blundering idiots launched their tag race." A self-depreciating smile then crossed her face. "Because of that…"

"Voldemort probably figured out how to hit us through Ataru, you mean," Rampage noted.

A nod. "My parents helped there."

"I trust they're being punished for it," Cremisi stated as she thumbed her hammer.

"They are," Shadow Weaver icily vowed. "As are the others whose daughters received Gifts thanks to dear Ataru and became the current incarnation of the Cosmic Mage Guild. Be assured, when this is all over with, the 'staleblood' agenda in England is going to be seen as quite passé. And that half-blood BASTARD CHILD that was responsible for the deaths of over SIX THOUSAND innocent people will be all ALONE for Harry to deal with."

"Invite us to the fight scene," the youngest Tendō daughter stated.

"But of course."

Both of them laughed. "So what now, Nassur?" Rampage asked. "Do these idiots see the light and leave finally? Or do we get Mister Main Man down here to frag 'em?"

Nassur gazed on Lum. "Well?"

The Oni warlord's daughter gulped…

By the Moroboshi home…

"Oh, dear me…"

"She has to understand, Albus," Stephen Strange warned.

Albus Dumbledore blinked, and then he nodded. "Yes, Stephen. She is truly innocent in many ways — shockingly naïve in certain places — but she is a good person deep down."

"What's happening to Lum-san?!"

The two elder mages turned as Megane and the Stormtroopers came up to gaze at them. Sensing right away that these young fellows considered themselves Lum's friends and were concerned for her welfare, the headmaster of Hogwarts took a deep breath. "She is being forced to understand the potential consequences of her choices, young man. I'm afraid that there are now intergalactic bounty hunters involved in this. A personal friend of Lum's family is here now to deliver an ultimatum to her to make her withdraw from Earth."

"They're not going to kill her, are they?!" Kakugari demanded.

"I believe this fellow wishes NOT to do something like that, young man," Dumbledore stated. "But there is a more serious threat being used to make Lum see reason.

"Lobo."

As the Stormtroopers all gasped on hearing the Last Czarnian's name, we…
