Zelgadis stared at the gold dragon. "Just by that one slip, he figured it out."
Sirius nodded. "Yes. Time travel is involved. Five of us were sent back into the past and because we each had a certain item, we retained our memories."
Milgasia sighed. "Upon my honor as the Supreme Elder of the Gold Dragons serving the Water Dragon King, I am here to help you. The last part of our god sent me here to assist you."
"You-you're a Supreme Elder?" Amelia asked. "B-but...."
Milgasia smiled. "Each of the clans serving the four Dragon Kings has a Supreme Elder. So there are four Supreme Elders for the Gold Dragons. The Water Dragon had a trio clans serving him: the Gold Dragons, the Black Dragons and the peaceful Aincent Dragons. When the barrier went up, we lost contact with the Aincent Dragons."
Zelgadis and Amelia winced when Milgasia listed the last clan of dragons. The two of them exchaged glances, as Milgasia started getting a cold sensation in his stomach.
"Um. Milgasia," Zelgadis said. "I think we'd better explain what happened to them."
So saying, Zelgadis told Milgasia of the extermination of the Aincent Dragons by the Gold Dragons that served the Firelord. He also explained about Valgaav and what he was now, along with a quick explanation of why Gaav is now rouge. Milgasia looked away with a sick look on his face.
"If only the barrier wasn't up when that happened, we could have done something. Protect the peace?" Milgasia muttered, as he stared at the sky. "Hopefully after this mission is over, I can talk to Valgaav."
Sirius asked, "You aren't going to destroy him?"
Staring at Sirius, Milgasia replied, "It's a risk. But, Valgaav has reasons for being who he is. I'd rather try and get both Gaav and Valgaav to join up with us. It's at least worth the attempt. Now then, what exactly is your mission?"
"The servants of the Water Dragon King are a lot different than those others," Sirius commented. "In the Overworld, the God Vorfeed and the Dark Lord Darkstar have merged and the fused being now intends to destroy all four worlds. With all five Darkstar weapons, we intend to kill Darkstar."
Milgasia's mouth dropped. "All five?"
"Yes. All five weapons are here. However, they by themselves will be unable to kill Darkstar. We need the Holy energy and the Demonic energy of this world for a spell."
Sirius went on to explain the spell that used all five Darkstar weapons and the power of Cephied and Shabranigdo. He also explained that to have any chance, they would have to divide Darkstar and bring half to this world.
Milgasia nodded. "I can provide Cephied's power, but you need the power of a high ranking Mazoku to get Shabranigdo's power. It looks like Gaav is your best choice. He has turned against the Mazoku and is fighting to survive. Ironic, the person who killed the Water Dragon King is the best choice in saving the world."
Zelgadis shook his head. "That's for later. Right now, we have to deal with Rexo the Red Priest in Sairagg. I'll explain as we go."
Milgasia nodded and joined the trio on their trek to the City of Magic
