Myna was quite embarrassed. Not only was she now covered in a brilliant shade of pink, but worse, she had missed the trap in front of everyone! What would they think of her skills now?! And why was it getting hard to move?
Panic quickly replaced the embarrassment as she realized the pink stuff was hardening.
“Hey, guys! I need helmmmff!”
Even as she spoke, the substance finished hardening. Now a pink (and quite panicked) Myna-shaped statue stood at the door.
Mecuria immediately grasped the most pressing concern.
“Hurry! She can’t breathe with that stuff covering her face!”
Ranma and Lyta immediately rushed to help, but it proved not to be necessary. When she found herself unable to breathe, Myna completely panicked. Straining with every ounce of her strength, she felt the coating start to give.
CRA-ACK!
With the sound of shattering glass, the coating fragmented into a thousand pieces, falling like snow into a pile at Myna’s feet. Grateful for her narrow escape, Myna breathed deeply. She realized she hadn’t appreciated just how sweet the air was! Odd, it also seemed a bit chillier.
“Ack!” Ranma abruptly spun around, looking away from Myna and covering his eyes.
“Ah… Myna…” Lyta was red as she gestured for Myna to look at herself.
Myna looked down and finally noticed the results of the trap. The pink substance had bonded with her clothes, converting all cloth and leather into itself. When the substance fragmented and fell off, none of this was left behind.
“Eep!”

Soiyo looked up as he felt a mental alarm. Someone had triggered the Alarm spell on his door!
Hurriedly he started back to his home. Maybe it was those pretty ladies returning for their friend. If it was, it would be rude not to show up and ‘greet’ them!

Back at the lair, the party had discovered another problem.
Myna had been wearing her pack, so all of her spare clothes had fallen victim to the Pink. Worse, when Mercuria had lended her a spare robe, Myna discovered that she was now highly allergic to cloth!
“Don’t worry.” Mecuria told the highly embarrassed (and nude) thief. “It was just a potion. It should wear off in a few hours.”
“Hours!”
“Can’t you do anything now?” asked Ranma from where he stood off to the side. He was currently on watch, while the others tried to help Myna. He figured it might keep him from being accused of peeping.
“Uh… I’m not powerful enough yet to dispel it any sooner.” Mercuria admitted. Actually, she was hoping she was right about it wearing off. She was mostly guessing, based on what she knew of potions in general.
Rii shook her head. What else could go wrong?
