The Power of an Dungeon Heart is an old and great thing. It is not necessarily powerful on its own, but its capabilities allowed it to use the mana of an user and gather more through the air, making it possible to create rooms and use the spells ingrained in the Dungeon Heart. It could also, to a degree, heighten the natural mana reserves this way, making even a low-level magician pretty dangerous with access to a Dungeon Heart. Not that Shinji knew any of that. He just knew that he was feeling kind of warm, like he was taking a relaxing hot bath.
Well, this dream was not as bad as he had thought. Now the first thing to do would be creating a way out. What had the Reaper said again? There would come a group of ... imps or something.
Oh, these would probably be the things he was talking about. The name definitely suited the three big eyed strange little creatures. Strange pointy ears, weirdly coloured Skin, big inhuman eyes and each of them was holding a pick. Shinji tilted his head at the beings before looking questioning at the giant demon behind him.
"Ah yes, now order the imps to dig us a way out of this place. Fresh air will do both of us only good." Shinji nodded. He certainly didn't want to get on the bad side of the Reaper. Even if he was dreaming, he did have a will for self-preservation.
"So, ahem, could you please dig a way up." He pointed at a wall and then upwards, hoping that the beings would understand him. He was surprised when they nearly jumped over each other in an attempt to get to the wall first. He blinked in surprised confusion while observing their work. When they began hitting the wall of solid stone with their picks, there was no effect first, but after around three hits, a good deal of the wall would just turn to dust.
Horny for his part was a bit surprised at just how good this was going. For some reason he had expected quite a bit more trouble. Still, he wouldn't complain about a gift. But he also had to make sure that his new "Master" didn't become a disgrace of a Keeper. His pride as a respected Demon forbade him from something like that.
"Now that you have a few Imps, how about making one more and turning him to getting us some money?" When Shinji turned his attention to him, he had to explain how exactly Imps could gather material and claim land for him. Shinji soon began testing this and was a bit overwhelmed with his new ability to see anything inside his Dungeon. Not that there was much at the moment. Still, having the ability to visually follow his imps without moving like he was standing behind them so long as they continued to claim more land was impressive. Shinji would have probably been skeptical about the ability of Imps to gather material from the stone and earth they were digging through normally, but well, this was all a dream, right? Oh, and there was the small pile of crystals like rubies and similar Stones. It was extremely tiny and wildly mixed, but it had appeared from nowhere and was still growing.
So, Shinji concentrated on creating another Imp, that proved to be quite a bit hard then expected. Horny would have groaned, but suppressed it for now. After around 5 minutes of fiddling around with his mind and trying to grab the energy of his existence, (Really, why could the Reaper not explain this better?) he had finally managed to create his first Imp. The other three didn't count because they came automatically with the Dungeon Heart.
Another moment and this Imp was send to another direction to gather precious metals and other materials.
Things were going good, next the Reaper would have to explain Shinji how to make a room. Specifically a Treasure Room.
Shinji in the meantime was looking at the small pile of rubies, diamonds and precious metals that was (very) slowly growing. The majority of the Imps weren't searching for a vein of worth and so just gathering what they met on their way, but this was probably still more money then he had ever seen. The pile was only a few centimeters high and around one square metre wide, but still, this was a big bunch of Money lying around and it was...his.....
