Naruto was acting less emotionally, more intelligently, and practically radiating Odd.
There was also something about him that had Kakashi's Sharingan eye burning even with the headband pulled down. It really only became a problem when looking directly at Naruto, but Kakashi Hatake found himself agreeing to a simple concept. He should NEVER look at Naruto directly with the Sharingan uncovered.
Kakashi wasn't sure what would happen, but he was pretty sure it would be BAD.
"AH! SASUKE! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
"Me? Take a look at yourself, Sakura!"
"AHH! Why do I have WINGS?! Why do I have a tail?! Why do I have... whoa."
Kakashi sighed. Naruto was outside. It looked as if he'd have to get Naruto and then have him explain things. How troublesome.
"Would... would you stop squeezing those?!"
"Huh? AHHHH! I didn't realize I was doing that! Honest!"
"Would EVERYONE stop screaming?!"
Now Zabuza was up. Yes, this was going to be a pain.
Sasuke flicked on his Sharingan for a moment, then let it collapse and sank back. "Oh. Ow."
"Told you NOT to do that," said Naruto.
"Sasuke, your eyes are bleeding," noted Sakura, a little creeped out by that.
Sasuke rubbed his eyes, getting blood all over his hands. "I got the distinct impression if I looked too long at you, my eyes would explode."
"If I didn't have the Elder Sign," said Naruto. "Even that much might have killed you."
Sasuke paused. If he could just manipulate Itachi to use his Sharingan on Naruto - boom - instant revenge. Go on with Part B of his plan. While lacking a personal touch, it had some benefits. Such as being done and over with.
"So what about..." Sakura flapped her wings to indicate what she was indicating.
Crash! Tinkle!
"That's two lamps and a flowerpot so far," noted Tsunami as she went to get the broom.
"When It came out, you looked too deep too long and you broke," said Naruto. "Your mind burned. Your cellular structure was breaking down, faster than anyone else's actually."
"How could just the sight of something, anything, DO that?" asked Sakura.
"To see something is the usual way a human experiences and takes in information on the world around them," said Naruto quietly. "Perception and reality are related."
"I don't get that, but how about the question of WHY I have THESE?" asked Sakura, flicking out her tail.
THUNK!
"Okay, at least that wasn't anything breakable," noted Tsunami, having decided to move everything breakable away from the ninja learning how to deal with new extra limbs.
"You were sufficiently broken that It decided to fix you by using something 'close to human' to copy parts over from," said Naruto.
"Naruto, if you don't come out and just tell me," said Sakura, "I..."
"Uhm, Sakura? You just sliced off a section of the table," pointed out Sasuke.
Sakura blinked and then looked at the hand she'd felt chakra flowing into. The nails had lengthened, straightened, and hardened until they looked almost like steel. Still the "green apple" color she'd used to match her eyes. "WHA?"
Sasuke shrugged. "So you got new jutsu, the ability to fly, and a tail out of it. Could be worse."
"Yeah, got THAT right," said Zabuza.
"How could it be worse?" asked Sakura, turning and snarling at the mercenary missing-nin before remembering his own situation. "Ah. Right."
"So what happens if you lose that disc?" asked Sasuke.
"Bad things. Very bad things. Best if you don't look and run away." Naruto shook his head.
