"The nature of a retcon actually. I've heard it referenced as a 'time boom' - where a 'sonic boom' happens when you move an object faster than the speed of sound in an atmosphere - a 'time boom' can occur when you change an aspect of the past. Though I don't really like the whole 'time boom' thing as not every society is even familiar with the concept of a sonic boom. Or able to perceive it in quite the same manner."
"I don't get it," said Naruto, to no one's surprise.
A bunch of wooden blocks fell from the sky and landed in front of him.
"Jenga?" asked Naruto, having seen the game before even if he hadn't played it before.
"A visual aid."
"So all you have to do is move one block," said Naruto, choosing one near the bottom and sliding it out.
CRASH!
"Oh," said Naruto.
"Mah, so can you restore Sakura AND the Hyuga clan?" asked Kakashi.
"Let's see. Maybe if I do this?"
"And make it so that I'm closer to Sasuke!" called out Sakura.
"There. That should do it."
"Twins! A little boy and a little girl!"
Fugaku Uchiha stared at the two bundles. "Twins are rare in the Uchiha clan, and usually are the harbingers of some disaster. That aside, why do they look so different?"
Mikoto stared coldly at her husband. "What are you insinuating?"
"Nothing," said Fugaku. "I was there, remember? It's just. One has the characteristic dark hair and eyes of the Uchiha clan and the other has pink hair and green eyes."
"Recessive genes?" asked the nurse, not knowing how to answer the question.
"I'm. Sasuke's. SISTER?!" asked Sakura.
"Yes. It was tricky but I managed to get your request in. Everything's restored and the timeline changes should be catching up shortly. Fare thee well, ninja heroes."
"WAIT!" called out Sakura.
"Wait? We're all right here, Sakura," said Naruto.
"That cloud? The eye? The wish?" asked Sakura, looking around her. "What just happened?"
"Sister? Knock it off. This is another plan of yours to convince me that you're not really my sister - isn't it?" asked Sasuke, shaking his head at the usual antics. Though it was the usual antics to him.
"SISTER?! NO! I'm Sakura Haruno, not Uchiha!" insisted Sakura.
"Sakura-chan? Maybe you need a little lie down or something?" asked Naruto.
"I AM NOT CRAZY!"
"No, you're just a total bro-con," muttered Naruto.
"I AM NOT A BRO-CON!"
"Yes, you are," said Naruto, Sasuke, Tazuna, and Kakashi. One with exasperation, one with resignation, and one with amusement. Tazuna simply managed to sound tired.
"I'm, I'm, not having this conversation," said Sakura, taking in her outfit. With the little Uchiha clan symbol on it instead of the Haruno circle.
"Be interesting to see what happens if she awakens her Sharingan," said Kakashi after a bit.
"Can't happen," said Sasuke. "She can do Fire Release, has the Uchiha clan affinity there, but she has almost none of the other traits common to the family."
"Excuse me," said Tazuna. "If your twin sister is trying to date you and you want her to stop. Aren't you the head of your clan?"
"A clan of two people, but yes that IS what was decided," said Sasuke.
"Why are YOU clan head?" asked Sakura. "If we're twins shouldn't it be equal?"
"No, your constant attempts to bed your own brother - starting at TEN - were enough indication that you weren't ready for the responsibility," answered Kakashi.
"WHAT?!"
"As well as providing indication that the Uchiha gene pool was becoming a bit too small," said Kakashi.
"WHAT?!"
Sasuke nodded. "Besides I was born first. By nearly six minutes. After attaining my vengeance, I shall marry outside the clan for that very reason. Such are among the many burdens I must carry."
"WHAT?!"
"Well," said Tazuna. "I was just thinking. If you wanted her to stop, as clan head couldn't you arrange a marriage for her?"
Everyone else stopped and stared at the bridge-builder.
"They couldn't actually be married for four years, but that's a very interesting idea," mused Sasuke thoughtfully. "And it does fall on my responsibility as clan head, my goal of replenishing the clan, and might solve that other problem eventually as well."
"WHAT?!" repeated Sakura, realizing she was saying that a lot lately.
"Hmmm," hmmmed Sasuke thoughtfully.
