Considering the issue, Ranma could see a lot of places to improve the situation while she had the goddess on hand. “How about some training or fighting I can do while all this is happening?”
Fighting? After a moment of thought, Belldandy could understand a bit since this wish was uprooting his life. A chance to continue practicing and improving his martial arts might temper Ranma’s annoyance during her time of not being Ranma. “Ah, yes, I suppose that can be arranged.”
Ranma wasn’t about to let it drop at that. Just having Akane forget her that one time and the annoyance of dealing with the Kuno siblings indicated it would be very annoying to hang around Nerima if this all was true. “Maybe somewhere that isn’t Nerima, since if they’re not gonna remember me properly, that’d be annoying to deal with.”
Belldandy paused at that request. It did make sense, but a minor part of Kuno’s wish was the possibility of marrying the pig-tailed girl, so there could be difficulty moving Ranma beyond his reach. On the other hand, if that wasn’t a problem, putting Ranma in a different place and life entirely would be a neat way to handle things until they got the buggy wish sorted out. “I can investigate the possibility, but it may be difficult to move you out of range for chance romantic encounters with Kuno-san. That may be a sticking point for the wish.”
The red-haired girl nodded. “As long as you try. I wouldn’t mind getting to pick from the possibilities instead of just having it chosen for me too.”
The goddess of the present nodded pleasantly, happy they were making at least some progress towards a happier situation for Ranma. “Yes, of course. I will take a moment to process the request and give you a range of options to choose from.”
Glowing once again, Belldandy accessed the ultimate force as she floated before Ranma. The first order of business was determining how far away Ranma could get from Kuno without disturbing the buggy wish.
