Ranma made her selection, hoping that perhaps being in another world she’d get to keep her name at least.
Belldandy processed the request, further refining the options. “You would be a closest match to the Uzumaki bloodline, known for their red hair, plentiful chakra and long lives.”
Images of a red-haired tomboy arguing with a quiet blonde shinobi filtered across the mid-air display. The display switched to a lonesome blonde boy that resembled the earlier blonde. “Considering all factors, it would seem most advisable to have you move into Konohagakure at age twelve or so, as this young man’s distant cousin. You would be able to join the academy and experience a good deal of adventure and a variety of techniques.”
The image changed to similar people, only aged a bit. “Being placed in at age fourteen would give you less time to acclimate to the world and learn basic techniques. It would be inadvisable, but more exciting.”
Belldandy considered the situation as she really couldn’t show images of the other possibilities. “We could perhaps do something else. The past from that point was far more warlike and thus I don’t advise it. An alternate version of that present world might work. Placing you in another place may not give you as much adventure and excitement as you’d wish.”
Ranma was playing with the image, essentially watching video clips and already itching to go. She sometimes felt like she should have been born during the Sengoku period as it felt like she’d already absorbed all the martial arts that still existed in their peaceful times. “Oh yeah, this I like.”
