Invasion Earth: Ranma & Friends Arrive; World-Wide Enemy Revealed [Episode 26292]

Cologne looked up at this speculatively. "You didn't want to bring Soun or any of the girls?"

Ranma merely snorted. "Mr. Tendo isn't in good enough shape for the kind of threat you said to expect, and the girls just plain aren't good enough."

"And that's not just your prejudice for female combatants showing?" Cologne asked in an equally derisive tone.

"You know as well as I do that the best of all of them is Ukyo, and she wouldn't be good enough to fight Taro; if she were able to just hold him off for even five minutes, sure, I'd want her along, but you know she wouldn't be able to do that. None of them are good enough for that."

"True enough," she reluctantly agreed. "It looks like you're finally starting to think with your head instead of your pride."

Ranma's ego obviously swelled, but instantly deflated, at least a little. "Besides," he continued, in a quiet enough tone that his companions couldn't hear him (the people he'd brought along,) but everyone else still could. "Akane wouldn't have come anyway, she still thinks this is some kinda pathetic plot you thought up, and do you really think any of them," he asked, jerking his head slightly toward Genma and the others. "Would have agreed to come, aside from Konatsu, if we'd brought any of the girls?"

Cologne chuckled slightly. "True enough. But onto the matter at hand," she lost her humorus tone, her voice growing serious once more. "Sailor Pluto told about a quarter of an hour ago that she can now tell us the nature of the beings entering this realm."

Sailor Pluto separated from the crowd, quickly getting everyone's attention. "Now that everyone is here, I can tell you all what is going to arive here in a few minutes."

• Suddenly, Pluto changes and reveals herself as one of the enemy! Was she a fake, and if not, what, what the heck is going on?!
• Some allies will be arriving first, then the enemies a while afterward. She just wanted as many warriors gathered as possible just in case it was a trap.
• The incoming enemy is only one being, but a very, very powerful one...
• The enemy is an army of Mindflayers/illithid (from D&D, version depends on author)
• An army of Mindflayers from an altered society (also from D&D, any version; but altered from the norm; any type from an alteration in their society or an encounter in another dimension, maybe discovering that stealing and absorbing souls really increases power, or maybe taking possession of some powerful artifacts; But are they friend or foe? Everything's your choice)
• Something Else...
