She didn't get very far. She ran straight into the arms of – a guy!?! There weren't supposed to be any guys around. Whatever! She latched onto an arm.
Stupid, stupid! What am I doing!?! Guys don't cling to other guys! He's going to think I'm yaoi! Oh,man! He's wearing that sort-of-plastic armor, too! Be prepared for a fight! Yeah! A fight! Fights I'm good at! Better than being scared! Oh, wait! I'm a girl, now! It's okay for a girl to do this!
“Great!” The guy wasn't happy. “Get an amateur master, get amateur results! Get Psychology over here stat!” He then groaned, but manned up, “I guess I'm stuck babysitting until they get here.”
Only then did Ranko open her eyes and kept them on the guy, away from any girls. Why did he reminder her of a young (but handsome) version of her pop? Maybe she'd end up fighting the guy after all.
“This Ranko Kuonji has no natural control over her libido,” Hinako reported.
“That makes her,” he shifted gears, “makes you a security problem. We have a hard enough problem maintaining every girl's peace around here.” On, man! He's beginning to remind me of Pops. It was 'cause of him I got my first phobia! Probably that third one, too.
“But without her lusts, she turns into a frightened kitten.” Oh, man again, couldn't've she describe me some other way?
“Yeah, I can see that.” He put his free hand over Ranko's hand. “As I said, it's all because the new master doesn't know what he's doing! He brought her here and left her confused.” He mumbled, “May not even know he tore her away from her old life. Or care.” His Genma-like voice and eyes softened. “We're you're new family, honey. Let us help you.” He patted her hand.
Ranko's response: Her stomach growled.
“Tell Psychology to meet us in maid mess!” he announce as he escorted Ranko away.
“Hey! You can't do that! Look at the mess she's made on this floor!” Noa cried. “Akane! Akane, are you listening to me!?”
