Some people in the class were a little less unsure.
"A ninja champion of justice?! What, are you stupid?" asked Kiba.
WHACK-UM!
"Teacher, may I demonstrate my boot-to-da-head no jutsu?"
Iruka, sounding a bit bemused, took a moment to respond. "Oh. I suppose."
Kiba picked himself up off the ground. "HEY! You kicked me in the face."
"Did I?" asked Akitsuki, projecting such an image of absolute innocence such that one of the Nara deer briefly stuck her head in the window.
"Nice touch," stated Iruka. Ninja class. Had to give points for that sort of thing.
"I wasn't ready for that, you cheater! Let's see you try that again!" declared Kiba.
"Ninja," said Akitsuki quietly. "If I'm not cheating, then I'm not really trying, am I?"
"Oooh," said Naruto, pulling out a notepad and pencil. "I gotta remember that one."
"Yeah, well, I think you're just chick-"
WHAM!
"-ken?" Thud!
Akitsuki raised her hand. "Teacher, I think Kiba should go to the infirmary. He's been falling down a lot today."
Kiba picked himself up. "You threw me into a wall! A WALL!"
"All this is beneath me as a ninja champion of justice," said Akitsuki. She shook her head and looked rather sad about something.
"I wasn't ready!" declared Kiba. "And that doesn't mean that you and your friends aren't stu-"
Akitsuki's head practically snapped as she levelled a glare at the boy. Darkness seemed to gather around her except for her eyes which were reddish portals to Hell.
Akamaru hid under a desk and whimpered slightly.
Kiba rallied. "We can take ya! Right, Akamaru?"
Akamaru whined. (Who is this 'we'?)
"Save it for the taijutsu class," said Iruka, finally interrupting this little drama.
Itachi stared at the photo.
Kisame considered for a moment. "You have a spy in Konoha who keeps track of your sister."
"To be fair, the spy thinks that she is reporting to someone is an Uchiha supporter in the capitol," admitted Itachi. "That my little sister is apparently wearing this though - was not foreseen."
"Black tights, red scarf, red armored bits," said Kisame. "She's got a sword?"
"Yes, and apparently declaring herself a 'justice warrior'," said Itachi.
"Maybe it's just a phase," said Kisame. "She'll grow out of it."
Itachi wondered if perhaps he'd gone a bit overboard.
