*CRASH!*
Ranma landed flat on his back in the middle of the floor amid the debris of a ruined skylight. "Ah! I can't feel my legs! Ah, there they go..." Then he got up, brushed himself off, and looked around to see where he had landed.
The Nerima Museum of Paleontology.
This was one of THE greatest museums that studied fossilized bones. It also had a lot of skeletal specimens, mainly molds made from bones found in other places, that stretched all the way back to when vertebrate animals first walked on planet earth (not that he knew anything more about them, or what 'vertebrate' meant).
Looking around, he saw that the exhibit called A T-Rex named Sue was currently going on at the museum. So after going to the front desk, paying out of his hyperspace pocket for admission, getting a map of the museum, getting lost about four times, a bathroom break between attempts two and three, a water fountain break, going back to the bathroom to get some hot water, getting in trouble with museum security about being in the wrong bathroom, and a discussion about Jyusenkyo with a wannabe adventurer, he finally made it to the exhibit hall.
Looking at Sue in all her glory, Ranma decided that she was a bit of a bad girl, in spite of her carbon-challenged physique (he didn't know what it meant, he just heard it on TV). Looking between his new mark and Sue's form, he had the heartfelt desire swell up within him, and without thinking, he uttered the words that activated the mark's power for the first time, "I wonder what kind of friend you would be?" With those words, the mark flared to life, causing him a little pain and a lot of discomfort, which seemed to lessen as the mark turned toward the skeleton exhibit. When the mark turned fully toward the skeleton of Sue, a coruscating beam of rainbow light shot out of the mark and struck the skeleton, resisting all of Ranma's attempts to turn the mark away.
First, an outline in faint white light surrounded the skeleton, collecting within it a faint, dark purple cloud. Second the outline peeled away from the skeleton, becoming a tyrannosaur-shaped cloud that stepped toward Ranma as he backed away from it, somewhat scared. Next, a brand new skeleton slowly appeared, formed entirely of calcium, and not stone. Soon after the skeleton formed, it began to warp and change, becoming more and more humanoid . That process stopped when the torso was mostly humanoid (with arms to match, complete with two fingers and a thumb), but the head, legs, and tail remained relatively the same, but adjusted for walking upright with a long tail. Then the new skeleton began to shrink, stopping only when it was at eight feet tall from the top of her skull to her feet, complete with a five feet long tail.
The next thing that happened were the various body systems forming, that seemed to be a hybrid of tyrannosaur and human organs. When her nervous system formed, it also showed that her brain cavity was expanding to meet the demand for a new brain that could think and perceive as a human being would, albeit with tyrannosaur instincts. While this was forming, a new personality was forming, one that was charming, if somewhat naive, and rounded out with a predator's awareness. It also had knowledge of a style of martial arts that involved inflicting large, lasting injuries that gradually intensified until the point of knockout (basically her own hunting style before the meteorite came).
"What?" asked Ranma to nobody in particular as the muscles, tendons, and ligaments began to form. When the muscular system was fully formed it began to swell and enlarge. Apparently, pound-for-pound, she was as hard and defined as a male heavyweight bodybuilder, but she wasn't unfeminine. Tomboyish, maybe, but not unfeminine.
The final thing that happened was purple dinosaur skin forming over the muscles, and to Ranma's great surprise, a pair of breasts formed on her chest, growing to the point where they were G-cup (proportionally to her size), while her saurian muzzle feminized enough to accept a pair of feminine lips and also express the full spectrum of human emotion.
The creature that Ranma had inadvertently created had been hovering in the air with her arms stretched out to her side. but as the process finished, her arms fell limply to her sides, and she floated down to the ground, where she stood for a few minutes, hunched over at the waist. After a few minutes, she suddenly jerked upright, and began to walk slowly, as if learning how to all over again (Which in a way, she was). After a few practice steps, she finally got the knack of it, then she paused to look and listen at practically everything.
"H-h-h-hello..." stuttered Ranma, not knowing what exactly to say to this creation of his. She was briefly surprised to hear his voice, then started focusing her new knowledge to respond.
"Wow," she began, her voice deep but feminine, "It's so nice here." she said, indicating everything with her arms. Then she turned toward Ranma and asked, "Do you think I can stay? I don't know if I could go back to the way I was before." She turned back to the skeleton on display with a look of fear on her eyes. What if she couldn't stay? Where was she to go?
Ranma gave her an encouraging smile as he said, "Aw, I think you can stay with us humans."
"Hu-mans?" asked his creation, "Is that what all these strange things are?", indicating the various humans who seemed not to pay any attention to her, except for mothers who shielded their children's eyes and hustled them along, "And are you sure? I don't want to be a problem."
"You won't be," answered Ranma, "Not unless you cause a problem. Do you have a name we can call you?" he asked, trying not to be distracted by her pendulous bosom."
His creation considered the question long and hard before answering, "No, I don't think so. Should I have one?" she asked innocently.
"Definitely!" answered Ranma with a huge grin. He remembered what the exhibit was called and asked, "Would you like to be called Sue?"
"Sue?" asked his creation, with genuine innocence, "Is that a good name for me?"
"It's part of the exhibit your, er, 'skeleton', was a part of." Ranma replied, indicating what was behind her.
"Thanks, I like it." answered his creation/Sue, then turning toward the exhibit with a sad expression on her face, "Although I don't think I need my 'skeleton' anymore."
"So, what do you want to do?" asked Ranma.
