"So let me get this straight," Nabiki observed, trying to ignore the plaster falling from the ceiling. "You two bought an enchanted wedding ring and figured that today would be the perfect excuse to use it. What were you thinking?"

"But it seemed like a perfect plan. I don't know what could have gone wrong."

"For one thing," Nabiki pointed out, "you two didn't make sure that Ranma and Akane would be paired up today, did you?"

"I thought you were doing that?"

"No, I had to get Akane to wear her ring."

"Wha?" Nabiki exclaimed. "You gave Akane one too?"

"Well, not exactly. Uhm, Shampoo and Ukyo overheard, somehow, and beat her up over it."

"So who has the other ring?" Nabiki asked with the attitude of someone watching a train wreck in progress.

"er, that is, Idon'tknowIlosttrackinalltheconfusion. Fortunately we have a spare."

"ActuallyIkindalostittoo."

"Honestly. You two!"

"We're so sorry," Nodoka and Kasumi hung their heads in shame.

• Let's go back to Ranma and Ryoga.
• Who has the second band - Shampoo, Ukyo or Akane?
• What ever happened to the third ring?
• Did the real dynamic duo have any plans for that day?
