Keitaro stared wide-eyed as the dog-girl Naru had become sniffed his clothing and then butted her head against his hand. "Narugesawa?!"
"Not any more," a happy Marilyn told him, "Now she's your pet dog-girl.
"B... b... but she was trying to get into university..."
"She doesn't have to worry about that any more. She'll be much happier this way."
The dorm manager blinked and then froze as Naru put her head on his lap, which had the added effect of her chest bumping against his leg. He winced in the expectation of getting hit, but after a few moments without any sort of attack, he opened his eyes and looked about hesitantly. "Umm..."
"Don't worry. She won't be hitting you ever again," Marilyn told him.
"She won't..?"
"Nope. Touch her, she won't mind."
With a great deal of caution, Keitaro raised one hand and placed it on Naru's head, then started a slow petting motion. Her eyes closed in appreciation and she made happy little noises as he took a little chance and scratched behind one ear.
"Oh yes, that feels so good Master..," murmured the dog girl.
"Uh... yeah..."
"That looks nice," commented Mutsumi.
Shinobu nodded. "Can I get a scratch too?"
"See," Marilyn told him, "It's wonderful for everyone!"
"How am I going to..."
"Now, now. Stop all this worrying! Realax, and enjoy your new pets!"
"I just..."
"Hmmm... what was it I was forgetting," said the shopworker as she ignored his starting protest, "Oh yes, the other pets!"
"More?"
"Hmm hmm. And since you seem to be doing so well so far, I think it's time that I brought out:
