Due to trying to break into a magick shop (Spells R Us), Soun and Genma were transformed and are now hamster-sized, uhm, hamsters. Nodoka and Kasumi visited the Magick Cafe and were likewise transformed. Some boy at school tried to turn Nabiki into his pet, but was only half successful and Nabi-kitty is now Ranma's pet.

Ranma himself ate a Big Hunk bar and is now a saiyajin. (Maybe.)
Hiroshi and Daisuke have bought treats for Sayuri and Yuka at the Magick Cafe and now Sayuri has DD breasts and has had a torrid lemon scene with Hiroshi, while Yuka is now Daisuke's French Maid and desperately in love with him.
Minako attacked the owner of Furries 4 U and is now a leopardgirl that belongs to Ranma. Michiru attacked the Spells R Us shoppe and was being bimbofied but Marilyn at Furries 4 U turned out to be a fan of her music and managed to use conflicting magics to turn Michiru into a water-element genie. Both are Ranma's.
Haruka tried to figure a way of getting Michiru back.
She was stymied on this for several reasons.
a) Hurt Ranma and Michiru was hurt identically.
b) Michiru now loved Ranma and would protect him.
c) Michiru was a lot more powerful now.
Michiru's Marid powers were such that she could turn to living water and flow under doors and the like. She could summon and shape water, forming walls and jets and other objects. She could concievably devastate with a tsunami, or heal parched land with a gentle rain.
As far as Haruka knew, it was the manacle on Ranma's arm that was the key. It changed size and shape when Ranma's curse was activated - remaining snug. It was the manacle that was Michiru's link to Ranma. If it could be destroyed, would Michiru be freed or destroyed?
After careful consideration, Haruka decided that it was best to:
