Instead of her appearance deteriorating and her mind remaining intact, her appearance was intact and her mind wasn't quite there.
But then raw power had its perks too.
Benadryl held up a card. "I summon thee, my servant. Arise - Knight Quill!"
The card glowed and shot from her hand, forming a green-spike-armored knight standing there with a two handed sword.
"zzzzzzzzzzz," came a noise from within the knight's helmet.
"Knight Quill. Quill. QUILL!" Queen Benadryl finally picked up her crystal ball and carommed it off her knight's helmet.
"zzzSNKCK. I'm awake! I'm awake!"
Benadryl put another crystal ball on the table and made a gesture to resume her scrying spell. "Observe these adventurers. You shall go forth and capture them for the sake of my Dark Kingdom. Bind them up and bring them here. QUILL!"
"zzzz I'm awake!"
Benadryl tapped her nails against this crystal ball. "Tell me, what are your orders then?"
"Go adventure with these binders and bring them to the Dark Kingdom," responded Quill. "Though Thay isn't really nice this time of year."
"Quill..."
"I mean, it's the rainy season and all. Have you ever tried wearing plate armor after a day of soaking cold drizzle? It's just absolutely miserable."
"...Quill!"
"You have to wear padding underneath the armor and that gets all damp and cold and you're stuck wearing it," continued Quill.
"Quill. SHUT UP!" A small lightning bolt accompanied this.
"I'm listening."
"Quill, you will go and find these adventurers. Beat them into submission. Tie them up. Bring them back here." Benadryl looked at where the odd green armor had been blackened by her lightning bolt. "Understand?"
"Yup. A #12. Defeat the enemy, capture 'em, return with them." Quill saluted the Queen.
"That will do," agreed the Queen.
Ranma was keeping watch as the girls gathered around a chest.
"Okay, I'm opening it, everyone ready?" Myna asked.
"Get on with it," said Rii. "It might have our stuff."
Twang!
Ranma prudently stepped through the door and took a sideways step to the right.
The light yellow vapors drifting through the door pretty much told him he'd done the right thing.
