Morning brought a worried group together.
Michiru was decidedly concerned. It wasn't usual for the Inner and Outer senshi to work directly together... but she could understand why at the moment.
Last night, something managed to wreck a part of the city... and none of them knew what it was. But more worrying was that now they were short three senshi.
"Are you certain, Ami?"
The blue-haired genius nodded. "Whatever was fighting last night, it started at the Hikawa Shrine."
Makoto nodded. "And we haven't been able to contact Rei, Usagi, or Minako all morning. Luna and Artemis are still looking, though."
Haruka summed up her feelings eloquently. "Shit."
Hotaru looked worried, and turned to her guardians. "Should we try and contact Setsuna-mama?"
Haruka shook her head. "I already tried. No response... but that's far from unusual when dealing with her."
Michiru leaned forward in her chair, and summoned the Deep Aqua Mirror. "Let me see what I can find..."
Michiru examined the mirror for a while, but when she looked up she was more confused than when she started.
"What did you see, Michiru?" Haruka asked, concerned.
"I... I'm not sure. I can tell they're all right, but..."
Ami raised an eyebrow. "But?"
"I think something has happened to them... they might be our enemies."
"No!" Makoto slammed her fist against the wall. "I refuse to accept that something could turn Usagi against us!"
Haruka frowned. "I don't like it either. But don't get all upset. If something's happened, we'll find a way to change her and the others back. Just be on your guard. Until we can confirm that Usagi or the others are all right, don't approach them alone. If you see one, contact us and we'll all confront them. Worse comes to worse, between all of us, we're sure to be able to subdue them."
Makoto frowned, but nodded.

Meanwhile, two cats were also talking. "Are you sure, Artemis?"
Artemis rolled his eyes. "Yes, Luna! Minako's heritage kicked into overdrive last night, and she lost control!"
Luna sighed. "Which means that Usagi's must have as well. And she must have found some way to wake up Rei at the same time."
That was the snag. The cats had long known of the girls true nature. After all, they were similar - Serenity didn't put them in stasis like they told the girls, they had been reincarnated too. (Which is why their memories were so swiss cheesed.)
They had just been waiting for Usagi's powers to wake on their own. They had never expected that she would find some method of waking the others without their help. And now... now things were quickly spiraling out of control. After Minako's rampage, most of the Darkstalkers on Earth... and many of the Makai as well... would come to investigate, and yet most of the Senshi were still effectively human.
"I'm going to continue searching for Usagi, and hopefully we can get this settled. What will you do?" Luna asked.
"I think," Artemis said, then changed, becoming humanoid. He had large paws for hands and feet, and white strips of fur decorated his body, "that I'm going to contact my sister. Felicia might be able to help dealing with other Darkstalkers."
