L-Sama touched the hilt of a sword that had no blade. "Darabingdu created these five items. They are the center of what is coming. But, they also have to get to the center."
"Darabingdu? What does the Dark Lord Darkstar have to do with this world?" Sylphiel asked.
L-Sama conitued, ignoring the question. "This is Gorun Nova that slashes."
She pointed at a very odd looking metal lance. "This is Ragud Mezegius that pierces."
She moved to a staff that ad one end shaped like a cat's claw. "Nezzard that gouges."
She tapped her finger on the blunt metal axe a few times, and smiled. "Bodigar that bashes."
She grasped the stringless bow that was hovering and said, "And finally, Galvayra that impales. I listed them from weakest to strongest. Gorun Nova and Galvayra do have a history on this world."
"What history?" Sylphiel asked, staring somewhat at Bodigar.
"Theese five weapons transform a person's will into power. You concentrate on them, like you would cast a spell, and they become very effective weapons. There's also a phrase that is usually spoken when the weapons are activated," L-Sama said, and held the bow in front of her, as if she was going to shoot the sky.
Sylphiel looked at the four weapons hovering and then at the Lord of Nightmares. After a few minutes, it became clear that L-Sama was waiting for the obvious question.
"What phrase?"
"Light come forth!"
With that utterance, all five weapons lit up. Sylphiel took a step back as she looked at Gorun Nova.
"Th-that's the Sword of Light. That's Dear Gourry's sword."
"Technically, it's Dark Star's. Since, he's the one who made it. At any rate, you have the information you need on these things."
With that L-Sama shot an energy arrow into the sky and the ball of light expanded until it covered the entire dreamscape. As the light consumed Sylphiel, she woke up in her bed.
"Why would I have a dream about the Lord of Nightmares and four other weapons like the Sword of Light?" Sylphiel mumbled to herself. "A Dark Lord creating a weapon that can hurt Mazoku, like the Sword of Light can?"
She stood up and walked to her bedroom window. As she stared out into the night air, her gaze went to the south-southwest. It might have been a trick of the night sky, but she thought she saw a thin pillar of light that looked like it went up forever. After a second, the pilliar vanished.
"Probably just a reflection on the Mazoku Barrier," Sylphiel whispered.
She went back to bed and dreamed. In her dreams, that pilliar of light was a lot closer and she was carrying something that with the focusing of her will had a blue-white energy blade of some shape.
