When he realized that his mother was talking to the genie Mihoshi, that was even more worrisome.

"Any wish at all," said Nodoka thoughtfully, "within those guidelines."

"Yes," agreed Mihoshi. "That's pretty much it."

Nodoka smiled. "In that case, I wish - "

Ranma fell out of the tree but was ready to do something to interrupt.

At that moment he heard his mother's voice state:

• "-that my darling son would prove his manliness with those girls again! I ran out of videotape, you see."
• "that those dear girls would continue to share my son. Ah, think of the grandchildren."
• "that my manly son could marry all those nice girls."
• "that my husband was nearly as manly as my son is."
  "Oh, no good in bed, huh?"
  "I thought the nickname of 'One Two' Saotome referred to his martial arts prowess prior to the honeymoon."
• "-but then my wish has already been granted. And I've got it all on videotape."
• something else that causes a cold chill up Ranma's spine.
