'Now what?' Priss thought angrily as she rode her motorcycle home. 'Two of my best friends are machines. Why did Syllia hide that she was a robot from us for so long?'
Priss made it to her trailer and stormed inside, while pondering her two friends robotic nature. The thoughts brought back memories of Sylvie and Anri. Priss closed her eyes and let the memories flood back. After a second, she opened her eyes and had a strange smile on her face.
"You might have deceived us this long, Syllia," Priss said aloud. "But, I know how to get you back for the deception you played on us. This is going to be fun."
She sat down and started thinking up a way to pull off her 'getting back' at Syllia. -- At Megatokyo Correctional Gulag, a prisoner was looking out the bars of his windows.
"Any minute now," he whispered.
He smiled as he heard a very strange laugh in the distance. Looking around he saw the originator of that laugh.
"Yes, I am a genius," he praised himself. "Who else would modify an old animatronic cartoon character to bust him out, if he got caught."
He smiled as the red headed, blue bodied machine laughed its peculiar laugh and chiseled through the prison walls, while neutralizing the guards. In a few minutes the animatronic had reached the prisoner's cell.
"Ready, bub?" the robot asked him with a very nasal voice.
"Yes, Woody. I am ready to depart."
The prisoner and his mechanical compatriot left through the hole that was made and disappeared into the night. The strange laughter of the animatronic cartoon character would long be remembered by the guards of the prison. -- At ADPolice headquarters, Leon was called in before Chief Todo. The boss of the ADP looked like he had an upset stomach.
"You wanted to see me, sir?" Leon asked.
"Yes. Yes, I did," Todo responded, "Dr. Mirian Yoshida has escaped from prison and is probably thinking up some way to attack the Knight Sabers as well as us. I do _not_ want a repeat of what happened last time. The papers had a field day over the fact that we couldn't protect our own building."
"How, sir? Our equipment isn't up to dealing with the current boomers."
A queasy look passed over the Chief's face, as he said, "Apparently the Diet has thought of the same thing. They have requested a special operative from the U.S to come here and help out until our equipment is upgraded."
"Who?"
"All I was able to get from them is that this operative works in a small town called Cape Inteneel and has the initials B.W."
"That's not much help," Leon grumbled.
"No, it's not," Todo responded. "And, I'm not telling you what the initials stand for until the operative is here. Ugh. Why did someone do that?'
Leon walked out of the Chief's office and informed Daley of the situation. -- Back at Priss' trailer, the musician had finished up her plans and got ready to put them into motion. She called Syllia's apartment and hoped that Nene was still there.
"Hello, Syllia. This is Priss. I want to talk to you and Nene about..."
Priss' voice trailed off.
"I understand this is difficult for you to accept Priss. Do you want us to head over to your trailer?" Syllia asked.
"No. There's a club with an indoor pool that we could talk at," Priss said, glad that Syllia couldn't see her nasty smile. 'Too bad for Syllia, I can't get a regular vid-phone line installed. I have to use the old audio only.'
"Okay. Well at least Nene and I are dressed for swimming."
After giving her the address, Priss made some other calls to set up her little surprise for Syllia. Once done, she got on her bike and headed to the club. Priss arrived at the club and set things up. She turned the lights down low and moved things around to prepare her stunt. She waited for a bit and soon Nene and Syllia arrived, still clothed in their gold bathing suits. They had entered the room through a back door like Priss had planned. The two robot girls stood looking at Priss and waited for her to say something.
"Syllia, hiding that for so long from us-- After I found about it, I felt hurt," Priss stated quietly.
"I can't change who I am Priss. I think you know why I hid that from you," Syllia responded also at the same level.
Priss grinned wickedly and said, "Oh I know why, but I still feel like I owe you something for the deception. Which is why you are here."
Priss grabbed a small cylindrical object from a nearby table and turned her back on her friends. Once she had turned, lights came on illuminating Priss and revealing a band. The two robotic Knight Sabers had figured out what Priss was going to do, but Syllia didn't have enough time to prepare and Nene wasn't experienced enough. Priss started singing "Mad Machine' to a crowd that was hidden by the dim lights. As the songs started, Nene and Syllia's little problem with music took over. The two Sabers started to a robotic dance in time with Priss' music.
'Having fun, Priss? If this is what it takes to get you to accept me for what I am, fine,' Syllia thought to herself as she was dancing.
Syllia and Nene constantly moved in time with the music. Instead of moving smoothly, their bodies jerked in a mechanical motion. They bowed, put their hands in the air, and performed other movements in a robotic fashion. A small ball flashing various colors of lights spun over the stage.
Priss performed a two hour concert for the club with Nene and Syllia dancing in time to her songs. After the concert was over Priss talked to her two friends.
"That gets you back for lying to us all this time, Syllia," Priss said. 'But, I'm not through yet.'
"I take it you accept our nature?" Syllia asked.
Priss nodded.
"Fine. Then your little stunt will be forgotten," Syllia stated. 'I'll come up with something to deal with this later.'
Priss shrugged, waiting for the next part of her plan to come out. Before the trio left, a member of Priss' band came up to speak with Priss.
"What's up, Flynn?" Priss asked.
"Well, Priss. We were wondering if your friends would be willing to do their little routine for our next few bookings. It would really help our careers out."
Syllia glanced at Priss, who just shrugged and turned away before her smile could be seen.
Priss thought, 'Syllia Stingray, night club dancer. Has a nice ring to it.'
Syllia sighed as she realized that she and Nene would being forced to dance at Priss' songs for at least a month. She resolved to talk to Mackie and have Linna cover for her while she was part of Priss' show. And come up with some way to cover for Nene at the ADP.
'Grandfather had problems trying to prevent my type of robot from dancing and now here I am having problems preventing myself from dancing.'
