"Fighting techniques?" Nabiki said. "From a bunch of tree hugging women?"
Ranma produced the manual, a little more comfortable now that he was on familiar ground.
"The Oread ain't the ones the bond with a tree," Ranma said. "They're the descendants of some chicks named Aramis and Helky or somethin..."
"I think that would be Artemis and Hecate," Nabiki said. "Greek myths have been something of a fad around here recently."
"Right," Ranma said. "Anyway, they're mostly powerful witches or warriors or stuff, a couple here and there do the tree hugger bit, an they all know a little bit of the rest...at least according to this...an I was looking for the fighting stuff...and found..."
He opened the book to show a rather detailed drawing, and then snapped it closed again.
"This ain't a fightin' manual," he said...blushing a little deeper. "Or a spell book...errr...it has some spells...but....err...not combat useful ones...."
