Plus it was slightly misleading. They did not go out and kidnap people, unless attacked first, after all, that would remove a potential customer.
And besides, why waste all the money dealing with intergalactic defenders and such and eventually end up at war with nearly half the multi-verse like the Slugorth (sp?) when you could just as easily collect a few genetic/spirit samples from unsuspecting "targets" and just clone whatever is needed?
It was much cheaper and allowed them to sell to those with much less money and still make a profit. Also, they put in a "freedom" command whereby an owner could free their slave. This inducing some do-gooders to purchase and free repeatedly. Thereby broadening their customer base tremendously and making themselves a huge profit.
In addition, they also hired out to free slaves from less harmless companies or else remove programming (if requested). Anything to do with slaves they made their business.
Which is why a severly beaten Agents G & S stumbled out of the girls locker room after being pelted as perverts. The prize of their peril? A host of hairs (they'd been lucky that the principle decided to do a shave through at the same time).
A quick trip home resulted in several other such genetic samples to be investigated and made into some sort of slave.
