"Five," Onoli said. "Including me."
"I'll start calling the others," Ami said. "I believe they're all at home, so it should be easy to find them. The normal meeting place?" Setsuna paused for a moment and did some quick figuring.
"Yes, it would probably be for the best," Setsuna said. "If a bit crowded. You should probably call Rei first then."
"Ahem," a voice said. Everybody turned to see Dr. Mizuno and her ex-husband, who happened to be hiding from the cats behind Ami's mother. "Perhaps you should check with me first."
"Uh...mother, I..." Ami started.
"I understand that you have powers and need to save the world and such," she said. "But I at least want to know what is going on from now on."
"We'll see you at the temple, keep your eyes open," Setsuna said, smiling. She stood up and bowed to Ami's parents. "Thank you for the hospitality, Ma'am."
"You're welcome," Ami's father said, part-nervously, part-warningly, and part-questioningly.
First, she was a cat, regardless of what she looked like right now. Second, she encouraged his daughter into doing dangerous things, the kind of things he had left to keep her away from. On the other hand, she seemed to be looking out for Ami at the same time.
"I'm starting at the Tendo dojo," Setsuna said. "Oh, and you might want to use the communicators, some of us are rather far afield at the moment."

"So are you the leader of your group as well?" Onoli asked. Setsuna blinked as she considered that.
"No, I am merely an advisor," Setsuna said. "Our leader is another girl Ami's age. She is young and inexperienced, but she is learning and she shall be great in time." Onoli looked surprised at this.
"How is the leadership of your order determined?" Onoli asked.
"Hereditary," Setsuna said, she smiled at Onoli's reaction.
"For a warrior order?" Onoli asked, slack-jawed.
"This is not our original task," Setsuna said. She wasn't quite certain why she felt like explaining herself to this man, but she was anyway. "We're remnants of an ancient realm."
"What was your original task?" Onoli asked.
"Royalty," Setsuna said with a sly smirk.
"You protected the royalty?" Onoli asked.
"We are the royalty," Setsuna corrected. Onoli stopped in step and Setsuna walked past him down the road a few steps before stopping herself and turned back with a superior smile. "You're escorting the Princess of Pluto, kind sir, do behave accordingly."
Onoli blinked and closed his mouth before moving to catch up with her.
"As you wish, your highness," he said with a small smile of his own.

"Well, nobody seems to be here," Onoli said as they stood in the empty living room of the dojo.
At this point the sight of Tirga carrying a basket of laundry passed by the two. Onoli stared in outright shock while Setsuna merely looked surprised.
"Hmm," Setsuna said. "I had him pegged as a playboy. I didn't expect him to have any useful skills."
"That's about what the rest of us thought to," Onoli said, then he called out to the weretiger who was in the middle of hanging the laundry. "Tirga!"
"Onoli, what," Tirga said. "But you didn't...ahhh!!....not again!!! What do we have to do now?"
